Du Plessis makes me think of my striking abilities, wich is not a good thing. He is a mess of a fighter, but a violent mess with a good chin, power in his hands and unstoppable will. Whittaker is way better everywhere, except in intensity. I'm in the minority here, but I like Du Plessis chaotic style, and it's obviously working against elite competition. I think he can catch Whittaker with something ugly late in a tough tough fight.

Going with the veteran here, Prachnio is a more technical striker and Petrino's still got some defensive problems. But if he wins this it'd be huge for him

It's been TWO times now that Prachnio performs in one of the dumbest MMA fights of all time. First one was walking hands down and chin up towards an old Sam Alvey, who's only weapon at this point was his ugly but powerful right hand. I remember he took it once and smiled, twice and was visibly rocked, but he kept walking, somehow, with a strange smile on his face. Boom, he managed to be Alvey's last KO win in a fight he was controling with his good karate skills. Second time was not being able to finish the terrible Knight, who was (not) fighting on one leg for the entirety of the fight. Prachnio's stand up is good, and he could really be a decent fighter but that fight IQ is the worst I've ever seen, and that's including the Kron Gracies and the Ion Cutelabas of the world...
