"edmen tends to getoutstruck" -who has outstruck edmen?
We're in an MMA context here, after all. And if he did mean that he'd still be wrong, because he did get outboxed by Brunson.
He also wrote:
how "COULD" they be true when there's literal evidence and footage that those things have never happened?
No such evidence exists.Evidence to the contrary exists. Anyone could confirm this by simply looking up the fight stats, or by rewatching the fight.
The answer to that question is Derek Brunson and more. For a poster who prides himself on being a professional gambler, that's probably information he should have been aware of IMO. Even I was able to recall this, and I'm barely paying attention to anything the vast majority of the time.
I agree the picture doesn't show him getting outstruck, because it isn't footage.
The stats show he did, though. I posted those too.
He also got outstruck by Hermannson.

And by Imavov:

So I don't really understand why he thinks my contention that Edmen tends to lose when he gets outstruck is wrong, because it is objectively, quite literally true, and it is clearly the case that I am as right as it is possible to be, and he is as wrong as it is possible to be. Imagine how low I.Q you'd need to be to embark on a three-post-textwall apoplectic rant about the way in which somebody is wrong without even fact-checking to see if they're right first.
I don't think he understands how MMA scoring works. Strikes that land in GNP are as valid on the mat as they are on the feet.
I actually have no idea what he even means. I don't think he does either.

you do realize that picture of Brunson and Edmen is a grappling scenario, right? how is that your evidence for Brunson OUTSTRIKING Edmen?
you keep bringing up stats and not footage because you haven't watched the fights, those stats are depicting ground and pound damage which is a result of grappling exchanges
I think it's really pointless arguing with you when you equate Brunson, Imavov and Hermansson outgrappling Edmen and landing ground and pound damage with outstriking him, that really is crazy LMAO
there you go friend, keyword here is "STANDING". educate yourself a little and please start watching a bit more because you're very obviously lacking in knowledge

Anderson Silva couldn't knock out Brunson either
Dricus and Israel couldn't knock out Tavares but Edmen did
Hermansson has only been cleanly knocked out by Cannonier and Thiago Santos
*** is your point?

Brunson literally finished him by KO/TKO. How do you suppose he did that if he's supposedly never been outstruck? He was getting beaten up on the feet before that even happened.
You can watch Brunson tool him up standing here, regardless. Edmen was only roughly even with him in R1. As the fight went on, he got worse and worse, as he always does. He's a one-round fighter who has literally never beaten anyone good.
Yes, he should be the underdog. Perhaps not so much a large underdog, but an underdog all the same. The bookies are right, and you are an angry man on the internet. Hernandez has many more ways to win than he does, and as the fight goes on, it favours him more and more.

you seem unable to argue within the constraints of widely agreed upon definitions in the MMA world by both fans and experts and you also seem unable to present any arguments worth responding to so i'm going to let you be, have fun thinking ground and pound is striking and not grappling

Edmun 1st round could be worth it, i personally don’t like 1 round fighter and especially if they fighting a cardio monster
Also Brunson was Silva only MMA win since 2012, Don’t use 2017 Silva as an example becuase he wasn’t champ Silva

Always baffles me when these pick % touters and people who claim to know all so much sit here and type with no track record. We're talking 100-300 UFC picks at 65% for the both of you (which I will admit is still impressive), and you'd think these were veterans of tapology going back and forth. Looks like you arguing about the most pointless **** with someone seems to be a normality with that post count in less than a year.
There was so much talking/fighting about pointless ****, I couldn't even understand any reasons why either of you liked the fighter or side you're on in the actual fight this weekend. Talked more about Derek Brunson (who isn't even fighting), than any examples or reasons why you like the fighters IN THE FIGHT vs each other. 😄
