Again, "Chitos weakness is getting back-packed" just seems like straw grasping when his opponent is the one with a loss by RNC. I don't think Sandhagen has anything too crazy to offer that Chito's never seen before and I honestly don't know that I can word it any simpler than that.

If this was a 3 round fight, I would definitely be 50/50. I like Chito so much more in a main event it's not even funny.

Word of warning

Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 4 Perfect, 415 Points   |   Tied for 1642nd

A word of warning for anyone betting this card.

There are tons of fighters from the Texas region. Almost half the card. Including fighters like Chidi, Austin Lingo etc... And everyone knows about Texas judging. Expect a lot of underdogs to hit.

I agree with you 100%. Corey is going to wrestle here and his BJJ is certainly good enough to avoid getting subbed by Vera who really isn't that good imo

@foppa how is pointing out an obvious weakness grasping for straws? If you don’t see sandhagen doesn’t have a major grappling advantage then idk what to tell you. You’re in for a surprise this weekend

I’m not gonna stop. Believe what you want but chito is losing Saturday night. He’s not as good as you think he is and Cory will show that

Yes Foppass, obvious weaknesses... Losing 7/12 rounds vs Aldo,Grant,Edgar & Cruz shows a lot of weaknessess. Lack of volumen, lack of wrestling, slow af.. Now tell to Gregory that I am bully and he should ban me and keep crying

If Sandhagen gameplan is to out grapple Chito then I'm betting the house on Chito, Sandhagen is trying to round out his game to you point, But he's not even close to a Dagastani, And Chito is a solid grappler, He need to do what bring him to the dance, Sandhagen winning a round because of control grappling be the first round he done doing so

BTW, I'm picking Sandhagen, Semi confident

@damien chito doesn’t have good tdd and he lies on his back every time he gets taken down. You don’t have to be a dagi to capitalize on that. Cory won’t purely grapple, he can win on the feet by being the busier figbter, but he has an advantage in the grappling department. He will mix it in like he did vs song

Stop acting like Chito is solid or prime TJ Dillashaw, losing that amount of minutes due to lack of wrestling, striking combinations, speed is a problem, he needs to get close to Cory and Chito hasnt the wrestling to do it and the level of striking either.

All the Chito/Cory debate

Predictions: 5 of 10 Winners, 4 Perfect, 375 Points   |   Tied for 2484th

If you are betting... IF you are on Chito...

Just continue to wait until round 2 or 3 to bet him.  It is a tradition unlike any other.  You could take Cory now at -125 and the hedge you will have on Chito after round 2 or 3 will most likely protect you.

As far as the fight... I said this about the Yadong Song fight:  Cory Sandhagen is so unorthodox and creative.  He is going to be a tough one for Chito.  I have no idea who is going to win but I think this will be quite the chess match.

The only way Im seeing this fight being competitive is if Sandhagen doesnt choose his strikes well and he doesnt regulates his cardio and this fight  turns to be more competitive with the famous ''CLOSE ROUNDS'' and then Sandhagen lose a decision. That wouldnt surprise me.But if Chito lands a hard leg kick, Sandhagen land 2-3 hard punches in his face, so this should have a clear winner, but Cory needs to play it smart, cause that's a factor and all of us know what happens with the judges on combat sports.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 380 Points   |   Tied for 2379th

Vera vs. Sandhagen
Marlon Vera, TKO, R3
Cory can't stand with Chito after that Font fight. Chito will just tank everything and hurt him. I think Cory has a legit path to victory to submit Chito on the ground, but getting the fight there might be really tough for him. I just don't see Cory winning on the feet against that kind of power and durability, he needs to use everything he can to swarm Chito and make him fight to relieve that pressure, otherwise his ring generalship is too good right now

Holm vs. Santos
Holly Holm, SUB, R2
Kape vs Perez should have been here in the co-main slot ***

Lee vs. Barber
Maycee Barber, TKO, R3
Barber should be able to basically out-muscle Lee, hold her against the fence and just beat the **** out of her. But, who knows it's WMMA. Anyways in my head it plays out with Barber smashing Lee in the face with elbows against the fence.

Perez vs. Kape
Manel Kape, TKO, R1
If Perez can keep it safe and grapple, I think he has a path to victory there where he can drain Kape's gas tank and probably even finish him later on. But, the fight starts on the feet and Kape has some explosive and dynamic striking, so I'm thinking he's going to catch Perez coming in with a flying knee.

I'm expecting Sandhagen to just out volume Chito and win on point, He's not fragile old man like he's recent opponent,

But I say this, I  never seen Sandhagen win with wresling or grappling, Most he done was a cool submession, And Sandhagen has been takedown in the past also, Wouldn't be suprise if Chito got a takedown either, If either man get more then 2 takedown I will be suprise, He went 1-14 on takedown against Song Yadong
