There is a very very good reason that Sean O'Malley keeps asking for the Chito rematch and not the Sandhagen fight. It will be clear to everyone why after this week. In fact I would be surprised if Chito wins a single round.

@rah people love hype trains and flashy ko’s. It distracts them from holes in peoples game. I’ve fallen for the trick before too; I used to think luque was a top guy because he has so many memorable fights, but now I’ve realized he’s just an action fighter, not an elite one. Chito is a great fighter but I think he will hit his celing eventually

@duck Cory litterally won his last fight with a grappling oriented game plan, maybe I was wrong in saying he is purely going to grapple, but he is going to mix it in a lot like he did in his last fight against song

Sandhagen benefited from failed takedown attempts mostly, He only got 1 out of 14, Really over rating Sandhagen wresling, The reason why he beat Song Yadong was that he was a better striker, Not because of a grappling advantage, Song Yadong landed more takedown then Cory did

They're literally not a fight where he shot a takedown and got a lot of control off it in the UFC, Think your doing the same thing people said with Kevin Holland wresling when he fought Wonderboy,

Duck, wrestling and grappling are two different things. Please re read what I said. He was making song thing about the takedown and was making him pay for dropping his hands. He was also engaging in the clinch and cutting him apart with elbows

Chito is great in the clinch too bro, I argue Chito is better in the clinch then Sandhagen, And I also argue, Chito has better jiu-jitsu then Sandhagen, Your propping up Sandhagen grappling, But I think Chito is better in that area

Also think Chito wresling is slighly better then Sandhagen

Vera vs Sandhagen, Chito will download cory in rd 1-2, rd 3 Chito will make reads and adjust, rd 4-5 Chito is the most dangerous, I can see Cory winning a DEC, but l see Chito landing clean timed straights and timed kicks, the later rounds is where this fight pops off, I only see Chito finishing Cory late rd 5 maybe, but the grappling in this matchup will mix up their styles where its a technical brawl, Chito will learn and adjust mid fight I believe in his skills in this war, may the best man win!

I like Vera here reach power and sub advantage good enough for me.
Corey spamms flukey moves probably gets caught.

Chito has a very beatable fight style, super slow starter, poor takedown defence, poor wrestling, stays on his back to long, he is powerful but he relies on it to much. Personally I’m not a fan of his output either. He was losing against Cruz and Edgar before the Knockouts and if he didn’t knockdown rob every round he would have lost on output. Chito has a lot of holes on his game and swear he has something in his gloves lol

I love it when there's a lot of strong sentiments around the main event, makes it more hype.

@ryanQ perfectly said. Against someone who is super durable and has the cardio to match chito will give him a very tough fight

Btw, I scored chito vs yadong 29-28 in favor of chito, but everyone acts like chito blew him out of the water; that was a very close fight.

That fight was extremely close honestly could have gone either way, I scored it for chito too. Sandman should win this with flying colours, chito will be two steps behind
