I don't believe it is a 50 - 50. I think Cowan is clearly better.

I really really wish I could have gotten Cowan at dog money but by the time it hit my book it had already flipped.

Holly Holm is going to fight a technical boxing fight like she always does and walk away with a boring decision... it's dominant pointfighting, but isn't too fun to watch. I can appreciate it for what it is, and the talent it takes, but I don't want to watch it.

I was gonna get Cowan at dog money, I'll get Vidal at dog money if the line keeps moving.

Cowan and Vidal fights in the same way. Not very good strikers, Vidal has shown sligthly more aptitude there. They both try to press their opponent to the cage though where they will use superior physical prowess to wear on them in the clinch and they will also take opponents down if they can, using strength more than technique. They have heavy topgames but not very god jiujitsu and are quite poor fighting off their back.
Cowan has fought in better leagues but really none of them have really faced that impressive an opposition. Cowan looks the stronger fighter overall based on physique but Vidal is 7 years younger and has already had her UFC debut unlike Cowan.
Overall close to a 50/50 for me. Hence if I get a good line on either fighter I'll put something small on it.

I refuse to bet Women MMA favourtes and be careful betting close dogs, It doesn't take much to persuade me to take underdogs at good prices because WMMA is very volatile and dogs wins all the time, People issue with betting women MMA is that they put big favourtes in parleys, Don't do that, It just bad betting

I'm looking into Yana Santos at dogs odds, Maybe Andrea Lee as well, Think both of those fights could be a good upset because Maycee isn't great and Holm is 42 in a few months

Best wmma bets are the O1.5s, they almost always cash with how many women's fights go to the decision and we've already seen 3 big upsets with Grasso, Lipski and Hardy all winning this month.

Only female fighter I can guarantee wins this weekend is Ditcheva in PFL but she's -900 ML. ITD should hit too though.

COWAN vs VIDAL

Predictions: 5 of 10 Winners, 4 Perfect, 375 Points   |   Tied for 2484th

-14 Days Notice- Vidal is taking this fight on Short Notice.  Cowan was set to fight Ailin Perez in February before she had to pull out due to an ovarian cyst rupture.
-1 Inch Reach- Advantage VIDAL has over Cowan despite being 2 inches (maybe more) shorter.  This is because Vidal is wider than Cowan.
-345  - Line Movement in Cowan's direction.  This swing reminds me of Minner vs. Nuerdanbieke where Nuerdanbieke went from  -237 to -362.  Or Johnson vs Flick, where Johnson went from -134 to -500.  Here, Cowan went from +205 to -140.  Someone knows something...

Prediction: Cowan because that betting line is SUS AF.

It should be Cowan by decision because she is head and shoulders above Vidal who is pretty awful.

I think Cowan has talent and promise. Looking at the line movement I am obviously not the only one who thinks so

Hailey Cowan, DEC
dont like hailey at all, but i dont think tamires has enough power in her hands to stop her from getting a takedown, hailey also fills in her frame incredibly fast and shes huge for a BW from what i remember. i dont think tamires has anything on the ground

Vera vs. Sandhagen
Cory Sandhagen, DEC
corys IQ will carry. wont give chito the chance to surprise everyone with a late KO win. (hope chito wins tho)

Holm vs. Santos
Yana Santos, DEC
fade 41 year olds

Landwehr vs. Lingo
Austin Lingo, DEC
nate is pretty overrated, especially in this MU, he gassed horribly in his last fight after almost being put out, hes given up ko losses to 2 fighters im not too high on and his win over klein doesnt impress me because i think klein is a fraud. lingo hasnt been in any exciting fights and its been two years so its hard for people to back him. but hes young, i would anticipate him showing up and looking better than ever. while at 34, nate is a finished product who prefers fighting for entertainment of the crowd over winning.

Lee vs. Barber
Andrea Lee, DEC
i think andrea lee has more pep in her step, especially at home

Perez vs. Kape
Manel Kape, TKO, R1
so hard to find the courage to pick alex, manel is so good at losing decisions bc of his low volume approach, if alex gets his wrestling going he can have so much success. but i just have no idea what kinda shape alex is in. hes only been able to have 4 minutes of cage time in 3 years.

Pineda vs. Lutz
Tucker Lutz
37 year old flagged for roids, goodnight

Giles vs. Parsons
Preston Parsons, SUB, R3
trevin giles stinks

Vergara vs. da Silva
CJ Vergara, TKO, R1
daniel da silva has one round of gas, one round of durability and very little IQ, he has a punchers chance tho.

Torres vs. Ogden
Trey Ogden, SUB, R2
cant trust the one round fighter in torres. hes also given up a heel hook and a knee bar submission loss, trey ogden has a huge advantage on the ground

Salvador vs. Altamirano
Victor Altamirano, TKO, R2
huge step up in competition for salvador,

What do you guys think about Duraevs orbital? It got really messed up in his fight vs Kopylov and his last fight got stopped by the doctor because it swelled up like a golf ball.. Is that the sorta thing that just gets permanently compromised? If so, Chidi would seem like an obvious lock.

@bigjewmoney in his debut his orbital got destroyed, so it definitely is one of those things that is permanently compromised. Kinda like Sean Brady’s or Dominick Reyes’s broken noses. On top of it, duraev had been brutally ko’ed 3 times prior to the ufc. I think Chidi is gonna ko him early

100% it has an impact. Physical and psychological. I don't trust Chidi's takedown defence one bit but even then I think he gets the KO. Both these guys are quitters, but I think Duraev quits first.

@rah123, it was Vegas who set Vidal as the opening favorite. The bettors have moved the line to Cowan.
