And do you know how you can truly tell the Morozov vs Newsom fight is a 50 - 50?

Bananas and I are split on it. There can be no closer match than that.

I have to say I'm leaning Morozov with the old but gold adage... wrestling beats BJJ.

We need to get him his own comedy special on Netflix.

What do you think of Costa. I really like Albazzi and think he is the future. But don't know enough about Costa.

Cant speak about the lines, but I skimmed through some tapes on Morozov and Newson.

Morozov:
Pros: Underrated striking, high fight IQ (ref: he knew what needs to be done to secure the W in third round vs Paiva), good with mixing things up and level changes/finding takedowns, good cardio, has a fighter's heart (doesn't give up easily; he will fight for your money)
Cons: Can seem chinny at times, doesn't use his grappling early/proactively

Newson:
Pros: Good average fighter with good enough skills to do it all (striking, grappling, etc), has power behind his punches, deceptively good with his kicks
Cons: Likes to do wild spinning ****, telegraphs/loads his punches leaving many opportunities for counters, idk why but his punches and kicks seem slow as hell

Overall, I think I Morozov easily take this. Morozov is better anywhere this fight goes and I feel he can pierce Newson up if it stays standing. Don't see how Newson can win this aside from landing a fluke shot.

@rah lol thanks. I am really high on costa. I don’t really think he’s gonna win since albazi on short notice is just too tough of an ask, but costa is very good and I think will bring the fight to albazi. I still have to watch albazi tape to see how they match up but costa has skills everywhere. His output isn’t the best at times but he Carries some crazy power in his hands. Really like his combinations too but since he is a smaller guy he has to be in the pocket to have his best success. That being said, he is really vicious up close and will rip to the body and head a lot. However, I don’t like his striking at distance; his jab is too slow for my liking and he just looks uncomfortable until he finds his range. That being said, when he does find his range he really heats up; you don’t wanna brawl with him because he has the power to take guys heads off. Where he really shines is the grappling; this kid is a stud on the mat. Strong takedowns and tdd. I really like his whizzer as well. His bjj is really really slick. He’s got very fast transitions but he’s smart enough that he won’t give up a dominant position. He is super strong on the ground too; super tight body triangle and hard to buck off when he’s on top (he does struggle with bigger fighters tho). His best submission is his armbar and he is just otherworldly fast in snatching it up. Now, I seriously doubt he taps albazi but being his main submission I think it’s important to point out. 

As for how he matches up against albazi? I don’t really know yet since I haven’t watched tape on amir yet. I am positive albazi will beat him but I think costa is good enough to survive to a decision. Just basing off what I remember about albazi, I think costa will have the advantage on the feet (if he decides to throw that is; I don’t like his output at times) and the obvious advantage on the ground goes to albazi. I think costa will be a ranked flyweight one day but I don’t think he’s ready for someone at this level just yet. I do expect him to put up and fight tho and I think albazi will go to a decijson here. Then again, if he really is that good he could just steamroll costa in one round

Always checking out these discussions and gotta say yall are funny as ****. I wanna start posting my own breakdowns cause I'm a degenerate gambler and always checking to see if people are sharing the same opinions as I do when it comes to how some fights turn out. like when people think the opposite and back it up with evidence from footage that I may have overlooked.

I am curious as to what you guys think in terms of which fight would most likely come to a draw. Every now and again I like to throw 5 on a potential draw even though that's the hardest call to make. If I had to choose, I would put the 5 on Damir and Armen for a possible draw more so than any other fight on this card. Tell me what you guys think.

Since draws on betonline are always +6600. I like to think I can land 1 of 66 shots to make the bet worth it. I feel dumb not putting 5 on Ankalaev and Blachovich cause I couldn't see either one being dominate and figured it could be back and forth.
