He’s also confirmed fighting on this card. It would be weird to sign errens but LaSuer (the news outlet who reported it) hinted that may be his opponent

Is Di Chirico/Kopylov seriously on the main card over Imavov/Buckley? That's just goofy.

I don't even like that as a "main-prelim". Jourdain/Wood should be the main prelim with Kopylov/Di Chirico right before it. St. Denis should be opening the main card IMO.

Just my 2 cents since this card lost Fiorot. I don't get the point of having an event in Paris if you're only really gonna showcase Ciryl Gane on the main card. Imavov is really good and looks like he could be a contender. He should definitely be on the main card.

Fairn being a dog also makes little sense to me. Big size advantage and huge difference in quality of competition. How is this not being viewed as a French fighter being set up with a winnable fight against a debuting fighter?

Am I missing something here?

Fairns losses have came from her **** tdd. Perez is a wrestler. It’s a set up fight. The past few weeks, the ufc has been debuting new female talent from their signing spree a few months ago, perez was one of those girls signed. It’s a set up fight to get hype on her. She will probably get a quick finish

Well fighters say that everyone in the UFC is tough and can win on any given night, but there's definitely fighters that no one in the UFC are afraid of and Taha is definitely one of them. He either probably had visa issues or felt like he could beat that dude with an injury

Youssef Zalal just got cut from the roster, I hope Quinonez gets his ass beat now. He knew Zalal was going to kick his ass, that’s the reason why he backed out from their match so that he could try and find an easier match up like Taha. Please knock this clown TF out Taha.

Yeah idk what their thought process is. Abdoul is one of the best prospects worldwide and they’re signing all of his teammates but not him

I honestly thought they signed Charles Johnson incredibly late too. Dude had to put on one of the best performances in the regional scenes ever to get signed. They just like to make these guys wait b/c they know that these dudes aren't going to sign to Bellator or PFL since their ultimate goal is to show that they are the best in the world, and the UFC has 90% of the best in each division. Kayla Harrison is literally the only exception, and imo she's really dumb for doing that since she already is pretty wealthy. Literally all the top talent in Bellator and PFL (along with bigger promotions in other countries) sign with the UFC if they decide to leave, and if the UFC is interested.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 515 Points   |   Tied for 1970th

Gane vs. Tuivasa
Ciryl Gane, DEC
A finish isn't out of the equation completely for either side especially Gane, but Tai has a good chin and won't quit even if he is down in the fight. With that being said, Gane is an elite striker who can use kicks to keep his distance and outpoint his opponents. So I will pick him by Decision

Whittaker vs. Vettori
Robert Whittaker, DEC
I see this being mainly a striking battle and Whittaker winning a competitive decision 29-28

Haqparast vs. Makdessi
Nasrat Haqparast, DEC
Nasrat only really loses to top 15 level guys and I think Makdessi isn't top 15

Jourdain vs. Wood
Charles Jourdain, TKO, R3
Sure, Wood did have a good performance against Rosa, but Jourdain is levels above Rosa.

Saint-Denis vs. Miranda
Benoit Saint-Denis, TKO, R1
Miranda has good BJJ so that is what Saint-Denis needs to watch out for. He is the better fighter however, and we saw how tough he was in his debut fight against Zaleski Dos Santos

Stoltzfus vs. Magomedov
Dustin Stoltzfus, DEC
Stoltzfus losses are all tough matchups for his style of fighting. I'm taking him as a dog here and then if Pyfer wins we can see a rematch between those guys.

@crimson if taha opens as a dog he’s gonna be a very good one. Quinonez is not impressive at all; had a close fight with a really bad Chinese fighter. He only won because the dude kept trying to taunt and would get clipped after winning most of the round

@reynolds it was one of the worst cut stoppages I’ve seen. The doctor saw a cut and yelled at herzog to end the fight. It was ********. Also it was lok dog early in his career and as you can see he was having his moments. This might be the worst stoppage of all time; worse than Garcia vs mariscal
