Charlie Ward is having one of the weirdest career ever : from actually killing a man (rip Joao Carvalho) in one of his early MMA fights (a trully sad but remarquable story), to being signed by the UFC for the ONLY reason he was Conor McGregor's friend (or bodyguard or coke dealer), then being knocked out cold by a brutal throw (yeah, not even a proper slam : he was thrown on his big head by Galore Bofando), or participating in the McGregor hooligan dolly throw against Khabib, he is now the proud winner of 6 of his last 7 (including 5 by KO/TKO) in the second best organisation of the wold. So, I get that he's not exactly fighting killers, but still, it's been a nice surprise seing the 41 years old Irishman having this kind of success...
