Do we see the same scenario with Wood that we saw with Calvillo? Both had a change of opponent that was ranked lower & hungry

@Delinquent: I agree. Like I said, good matchmaking. Very even fights.

Weird, though: when I said that above, I got three thumbs down. Not that I obsess about that stuff, but I've never had that happen before. Not sure why that pissed people off.

Luque got his black belt back in September.
So i guess technically he wasn't a black belt when he fought Chiesa, but a month later.

Saw some comments on Terrance McKinney by sub, and totally agree.
Best shot is to take the fight to the ground, and Ziam's weaknesses (and losses) have been on the ground/sub.
Just hope McKinney doesn't try to stand and bang with Ziam wrecklessly, his kickboxing is solid.

McKinney can knock ziam out on the feet too tho that’s the thing. Ziam is a much more technical striker but McKinney could literally just close the distance and hammer him with punches. Also, he’s fell in love with striking since that contender series loss, if anything I think a GNP is more likely than a sub but that’s just me. Sub is totally a viable option

Lookboonmee actually has to eat to make weight, from what I heard either Felder or Bisping or Anik saying.

That what I was saying before, Loma weighs 115-118lb, Loopy last opponent Luana Carolina  would weighs in between 130-135lb on fight day, Also Loopy weighed in at 121lb, And for 115lb-135lb people, That a huge amount of weight

I can tell a lot of people here never step foot in a jiu-jitsu gym for spamming my why Loppy is stupid for taking the flyweight fight post with dislikes, A weight advantage is huge in grappling, Loopy couldn't take Luana down because she was at least 10% bigger then her, Now Loopy is fighting a girl who she maybe 5% bigger then, I think that extra weight will help the grappling

And sorry for writing a paragraph, I just get pissed off at stupid people and you are stupid if you disagree with me on the Loopy going to flyweight was a smart choice,It just wasn't, Now people are disrespeting her for fighting up a division i bet Loopy would of been the tapology favorite if she didn't take the Luana fight, Luana ain't good, She was just bigger than Loopy,

This is a photo of Loopy last fight she took on 7 day notice

So what’s the consensus then? Loma gonna be too small to defend takedowns?

Davey has no way of winning. He was getting bombed on the whole first round with Martinez and Yanez has 100% cleaner boxing and power. He was dropped by Martin Day (Can), Manny Bermudez (Wrestling Can) This will be Yanez KO Rd 1.

Osama did you watch the Martinez fight? The first round was competitive until literally the last 30 seconds when he got dropped. Then he completely outvolumed him until the ko in the second

Davey Grant gets counted out by everyone, he's been an underdog in every fight since 2016 and he has some insanely brutal finish wins. Bet against him at your own risk, he's one of the livest dogs there is

His striking is hella underrated, I’m not saying he’s the next big contender, but he’s not gonna make it easy for yanez. He’s not gonna gas like costa did, he has unrelenting pressure, has some of the most awkward striking to account for, and is also a better grappler than he is a striker; but he hasn’t been using it recently
