Yeah it's tricky because if Holland had gotten up and KO'd Daukaus, they'd have let that stand. But it was the wrong decision to let the fight continue in the first place, and the headclash clearly changed the outcome. You can't punish Kevin for defending himself.

A messy way to get there, but it should have been a NC anyway.

Well whoever's call it was it was the right one. Dan should have stopped the fight when there was a headbutt but hindsight is 20/20 and it must've been hard to know what caused Holland to drop in the heat of the moment.

By the way the fight should have been stopped without considering the ability of Holland to fight, should be treated similarly to an eye poke or guts shot. Give him more time to recover, check if he is actually able to fight, and let them fight right after the foul, not weeks later

This is similar to Darren Stewart's debut, a headbutt that was followed by a TKO a awhile later. I think it was originally a win for Stewart that was later overturned to a NC. That seems to be a good precedent for the result of this fight.

No as Holland wouldn’t have got an advantage from the situation. I think the rule is that if a foul leads to a fight ending sequence it’s a no contest. So if Holland won it would have counted since the headbut wouldn’t have led to a fight ending sequence
