@plusmoneyGod I completely agree Trevin has faced the way better competition, Lawrence has looked good and gotten many takedowns against bums but we haven’t seen him against anyone literally anyone legit. And Look at what Trevin has done to two very legit guys in Bautista and valiev. I’m riding with Trevin all day, Lawrence gets put out cold.

Yeah but Trevin was losing the fights before he found the big shot, and watching his regional tape I've watched him get taken down and decently controlled by people you'll never hear of. I don't like how he kinda keeps his chin in the air he could get clipped but from what I have seen he takes a punch pretty well. There was really no wrestling in his ufc spots to tell how good his takedown defense is but I encourage you to watch the last regional fight against the asian dude at DEEP. He won that fight but first round was pretty easily taken down a few times. I think Lawrence doesn't just get him down at will, but gets him down enough to do some ground and pound and advancements to win the rounds.

@depmode33 go back and watch Lawrence vs Cachero and watch how many times Lawrence does a stupid ass spinning attack in range where Trevin will be able to knock his block off. Cachero only landed 1 good shot but doesn't have 1 shot power. Trevin does. Ronnie Lawrence would lose to Mario Bautista, let alone Valiev.

@DCpredictions so fyi, Trevin Jones started fighting in Guam at 20 years old in 2011, so the regional film you seen from 5-10 years ago means nothing. Similar to how Do Bronx was getting finished early in his career and now is LW champ. He has 6 loss in his entire career, 3 of which were split decisions. 2 of those opponents have a 25-7 combined record. Just because you haven't heard of someone means nothing. He has reached his fighter prime and it is time that his sacrifice pays off. It's no coincidence that 3 fighters have ducked him for this week's card. He will get this W against a contender series kid with 0 striking offense

Damn, Lazzez was someone I was looking to parlay. I don't feel great putting ****** Bryan Barbarena heavily into bets, but not sure where else to go. I like Rafa, and I'm torn on the main event.

This is the type of main event where I want three solid parlay pieces, and then just bet both sides.

I mean like I said it was his last regional fight it was in 2018 I believe not the beginning of his career. I'm not saying that doesn't mean that dude is bad I'm just saying I don't know anything about him. Besides, Trevin won the fight by sub in the second round, I'm just using the first round as example that he can be taken down, and Lawrence is good at takedowns. Lawrence does keep a pretty low guard so, I won't be shocked if he gets KOed, but from all the tape I watched on him he took some shots and never really looked hurt. Does that mean that Trevin won't be able to? No. But as far as a prediction I'm going Lawrence by decision. Don't know if I Wanna bet it yet.

Legitimate question. How many "favours" did Cheyene Buys did as she getting another co-main spot after getting headlock by Ruiz for 15 minute, which is Ruiz only move and she know this from an interview. This time she fighting a 5-3 lady who no one know.

@DCpredictions ya but what happens when Ronnie Lawrence isn’t able to get takedowns lmao. We’ve seen the guy against a couple bums, he’s looked great but Trevin is on another level than anyone Lawrence has ever faced like @plusmoneyGod touched on to Lawrence throws blank kicks all the time, and was able to get away with it against lower competition. Gonna be a short night for Lawrence if he hasn’t fixed that

What happens when he can't get takedowns? He's ******. But from what I saw with the TD defense of Trevin, which fairly enough wasn't much, I think he will be able to. Probably won't be able to ragdoll him like the last 2 but enough. It's not just about who he got takedowns on, it's about the quality of the takedown themselves, if he just got sloppy takedowns because they didn't know how to defend them that would be one thing but his are (usually) crisp. Like 1 second or less from level change/reaching for trip/etc they are on the way down.

If you are on Trevin I would say don't just count on the KO only he's a black belt who has subs on his record, whose going against someone who wants to get him to the ground, you never know when he reverses positions and finds a choke or throws up a triangle from the bottom or what have you. If you're a betting man on Trevin I would take Trevin ITD instead of the low hanging fruit KO prop. Just my two cents.
