There weren't many fights on this card I really cared about in the first place but now one of them is off(heavyweights).

I genuinely LOVE the idea of a Tapology Fight of the Night. There's always one fight that divides the forum all week long. My favorite is when its buried deep on the undercard between soon to be cut fighters.

Predictions: 2 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 115 Points   |   Tied for 2453rd

Gruetzemacher vs. García
Rafa García, TKO, R1
I think they are setting Gruetzmacher up to get demolished... Garcia should bullrush within first min.

Chavez vs. Kamaka III
Danny Chavez, DEC
Chavez has showed a lot in his last loss, i like fighters coming off losses after a nice break. Kamaka is chasing losses, Chavez kicking game and outside work should get it done.

Yoder vs. Yu Frey
Ashley Yoder, DEC
YODEL YA HE HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Jones vs. Lawrence
Ronnie Lawrence, DEC
Ronnie Lawrence is like a UFC created character of Khabib fans that live in Tennessee, spent all the damn xp on takedowns and gnp

Cosce vs. Rowe
Philip Rowe, DEC
That reach is ridiculous, getting Buys couple flashbacks. His more hyped of a prospect brother was outstruck in his debut. Unless Cosce wrestle fooks can def see Rowe getting the best of him on the feet

Predictions: 2 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 115 Points   |   Tied for 2453rd

Hall vs. Strickland
Uriah Hall, TKO, R4
I could be dumb or we might of saw this matchup ealier this year with Shane Burgos vs. Edson Barboza classic boxer vs kickboxer. Uriah to take all the shots, give the harder ones back to end Strickland's storm to the top.

Kang vs. Yahya
Kyung Ho Kang, DEC
Ughhhh, Yahya. Nahno

de Paula vs. Buys
Gloria de Paula, DEC
Diego Lima Chute Boxe fighters are usually pretty well rounded, if she's more than decent in any position of mma she will win. Buys still best South African couple tho

Stolze vs. Gooden
Niklas Stolze, DEC
Gooden on short notice, coming off two loses. Sink or swim, i think he sinks.

Benoit vs. Adashev
Ryan Benoit, TKO, R2
Decent flyweight scrap, i think Adashev is going to be too green for somebody like Benoit.

Barberena vs. Witt
Bryan Barberena, SUB, R2
More of a strawberry kinda guy.

Montaño vs. Wu
Nicco Montaño, DEC
Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............ Montana...........

Anglin vs. Baghdasaryan
Melsik Baghdasaryan, DEC
Anglin loves to clinch, Melsik hands/bows and combos were def top notch on contenders series. Anglin a little too green for a striker of this notch imo.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 3 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 165 Points   |   Tied for 1727th

Hall vs. Strickland
Sean Strickland, TKO, R3
Strikland by volume, pressure, and maybe grappling

Kang vs. Yahya
Kyung Ho Kang, DEC
Kang keeps it standing, neutralizes the grappling of the smaller Yahya and outpoints him on the feet

de Paula vs. Buys
Gloria de Paula, TKO, R3
Gloria has quite a few finishes and out volumes and outsizes Buys. TKO's her with straight punches. As long as she avoids getting taken down she should win this as a dog. Still expect the judges to rob this again if it goes to decision.

Stolze vs. Gooden
Niklas Stolze, TKO, R3
Stolze KO's the short notice Gooden who isn't actually very gooden

Benoit vs. Adashev
Ryan Benoit, SUB, R2
Benoit with a reach and size advantage outstrikes then out grapples Adashev in his last UFC fight

Barberena vs. Witt
Bryan Barberena, TKO, R1
Nothing to explain here

Montaño vs. Wu
Nicco Montaño, DEC
Montanos ground game will be too much for Wu

Anglin vs. Baghdasaryan
Melsik Baghdasaryan, DEC
Not sure about this because we havent seen Melsik in the later rounds and Anglin has good wrestling. Close one

Gruetzemacher vs. García
Rafa García, SUB, R2
Should be an easy win for Garcia

Chavez vs. Kamaka III
Danny Chavez, DEC
Close but Chavez should take it with leg kicks and wrestling

Yoder vs. Yu Frey
Ashley Yoder, DEC
who the hell knows? If Yoder pulls gaurd and gets controlled on the ground I will throw something at the TV. Otherwise she should be too big for Frey.

Jones vs. Lawrence
Ronnie Lawrence, DEC
Lawrence by grappling domination. He won't sub Jones who is a black belt but will likely exhaust him with his relentless take downs. Jones has only KO'd a chinny Valiev who was gassed and Mario Bautista who looked absolutely awful after a rough weight cut. I think his KO power is over rated

Cosce vs. Rowe
Philip Rowe, SUB, R3
Rowe trains with Rodolfo Veira and Ryan Hall I think. The Cosce bros are over rated and Orion will likely gas out after 1 round. Rowe has never been KOd and has decent striking

Yoder vs. Yu Frey
Ashley Yoder, DEC
Yoder is the much bigger and longer fighter here. Better grappler too and might be able to utilise her reach on the feet. Frey is a little bit small for this division and I think she's gonna have a hard time on the ground if Yoder can get it there because Yoder is a solid grappler

Anyone else think +150 for Phil Rowe here is insane? On here says 4 inches taller and 9 inch reach advantage, probably not accurate as it never is most of the time but still.... Rowe will surely destroy him when they are both standing? Cosce only way to win is grapple you'd think

Also is Bryan barbarena a lock here as the votes tell me he is

Thinking of doing a rafa garcia bryan barbarena parlay

Yeah I'm thinking Barbarena, Rafa, and Stolze parlay.

Then a side one with Uriah added just because I think those odds are crazy.

Chavez vs. Kamaka III
Danny Chavez, DEC
This is a very fun scrap, and for the most part I see this being a kickboxing bout between the two. Leaning Chavez because I think he can use his calf kicks more effectively. It's very close though, Kamaka is a very solid striker himself so I would not be surprised if he can get the win but I just see Chavez being a little bit more active in this one

revisit 2 Yadong Song vs. Marlon Vera and Cody Stamann. How he could win is still a mystery to me, again damned judges. Yadong Song (Team Alpha Male) Maycee Barber only had to win in round 3 to get the split decision (Team Alpha Male)
