The headlock was getting pretty comedic after it happened the third time. You should watch the fight it's a good laugh.

This card is badddd. Buys vs De Paula in the main card? Really??? The Bellator card is definitely better this week.

de Paula/Buys and Kang/Yahya should be on the prelims.

Yoder/Frey isn't much better but at least they're more established names. I mean de Paula's last fight was a loss to Frey for crying out loud. How is this fight on the main card?

Kang/Yahya definitely less so but there's multiple prelims that are both more interesting and have bigger implications IMO. Lawrence/Jones, Chavez/Kamaka, or Lazzes/Stolze would all be better for the main card.

Maybe this gets shifted around as the week goes on. 15 fights is kinda crazy so maybe 2-3 get rescheduled or cancelled.

I just feel like with UFC competing with Pitbull/Mckee this weekend you gotta assemble a better main card than that on paper.

I think the UFC knows its a bad card and they are adding more fights to add more bang for your buck (yes I know its free on espn+ its a figure of speech).

Benoit vs. Adashev
Ryan Benoit, SUB, R2
Close fight this one, picking Benoit because I'm hoping that he can mix some wrestling in, if he doesn't then he's really giving Adashev a chance to win this fight. This fight is actually really good as well, both guys are pretty explosive, Benoit I think has the power advantage and the grappling advantage then Adashev has the speed advantage. Benoit might get this one done on the ground

Watch this card holds all 15 fights just because there's not much to look forward to, then the following card (UFC 265) gets all kinds of messed up

Watched this live, Benoit is a power puncher and took out Sergio Pettis and then kicked him in the ass

He apologized right after so Dana gave him a break (you know that Bald guy who picks and chooses who to not punish and who to)

Strickland v. Hall

Question is can Strickland fight with that trucker hands down striking style for 5 rounds straight and not get caught hard by one of Uriah's significant strikes that he throws once every 2 minutes

Abdurakhimov vs. Daukaus

Daukaus has good takedown defense and showed it vs. Oleynik, and I can't see Abrek beating Daukaus in a striking match. I can see Daukaus keeping that KO streak rolling here

Buys vs. Paula

This fight should stay on the feet, Buys then gets some of her hype back with this win.. then lose it again soon after. There's 2 rules I go by when it comes to unranked female fighters though, 1: Never consider them in a parlay. 2: If it's a close fight and goes to decision the cuter female will get the win. In this case they're both fairly good on the eye so I think the better fighter wins here and my pick is Buys coming in to avenge her previous embarrassment against a scrub

Cosce vs. Rowe
Philip Rowe, DEC
Going with Rowe because I feel like he'll have space in this fight so he can utilise his length, Cosce doesn't press forward like Green does. Cosce should really go for leg kicks in this fight, we saw how Rowe reacted to them in his last fight and it was terrible. I just feel like Rowe can edge him in the striking, he's faster and just a little bit more fluid, he also has a grappling advantage, he can get back to his feet or maybe even reverse position should Cosce try to take this one down

Trevin Jones has an iron in his hands, I think he will successfully shorten the distance and crack the right overhand and knock out Lawrence. Jones loves it when the underdog so far has been 2 times underdog and 2 times won.

Danny Chavez showed brutal low kicks and hard kicks in the match against TJ Brown, I think Kamaka is a point fighter who scores a lot of kicks which is ideal for Chavez. I think Chavez will brutalize him with lowkicks to slow him down and then knock him out.
