Di Chirico? what? If he wins, I will be removed from the forum forever. If you lose you will leave.
Di Chirico is the best and future belt holder. The very best in this motto. I watched his fights and I just can't understand why he lost.
I give my word that if pasta wins, you won't see me on the forum again

Di Chirico does fight to the level of his opposition albeit in losing efforts more often than not, so I can kinda see why someone would decide to go for that upset.

Personally I'd be more confident in backing an underdog that's actually looked good before in Li, but I'm going against both he and Alessio because I'd rather not start the year trying to catch lightning in a bottle.

I can not understand. How does Di Chirico have fans. What has he shown in 5 years? He's boring like a snail.

Carlos Condit, DEC
Picked Brown before but my mind has changed.

Buckley vs. Di Chirico
Joaquin Buckley, TKO, R2
Buckley will overpower Alessio and finish him. Gimme fight for Joaquin but whatever.

other than a lay and pray method I don't see many other paths to victory for Di Chirico. I think this is a layup and a roster cut built in one. Buckley should win even if it does go to decision.

Tafa vs. Felipe
Justin Tafa, TKO, R2
In my opinion a good underdog pick. Tafa really bounced back after his first L - debut jitters, and I think he has the athleticism for TKO r2

Holloway vs. Kattar
Max Holloway, DEC
Its Power vs Volume, The Featherweight Champ vs the guy who beat Zabit in a world where the judge are copentent. I see it being simular to the Max vs Dustin fight where Max could of won if he didn't got drop in the secound. But Im picking Holloway because Katter doesn't have the volume of Dustin to not get out volume like ma

Condit vs. Brown
Carlos Condit, TKO, R2
Think Brown is gonna get body kicked really hard, Matt Brown almost got finished by Body kick in alot of his fight and finsihed by Elenberger by Bodykick, Might swich back to Brown because he will takedown Condit. Hard fight to predict because both guy haven't beaten anyone who wasn't a give me fight in almost a decade

Ponzinibbio vs. Li
Santiago Ponzinibbio, TKO, R3
My 4 year degree in MMA math tell me to pick Ponzi. They both fought Neil Magny and Ponzi pressured him to victory while Jinglaing got wall and stall for 15 minute.Only facter is that Ponzi almost died recently but Jingliang ain't great and the Zaleski fight he was on something

Imavov vs. Hawes
Phil Hawes, TKO, R1
French aren't great fighter,

Wu vs. Edwards
Joselyne Edwards, DEC
Taking Edward because Wu lost to Gina Maziny

Tafa vs. Felipe
Carlos Felipe, TKO, R2
MMA math time, Tafa got stiffen by the Cuban guy and Felipe domunated the same cuben

Zawada vs. Emeev
Ramazan Emeev, DEC

The only reason Di Chirico may win is beacause he have a good chin and we already see Buckley struggling when fighting guy that he can't knock out in bellator.

Personally I think Buckley get the decision here.

Holloway vs. Kattar
Calvin Kattar, DEC
I reeally thought I couldn't be the only one who sees Kattar with his hand raised at the end of this one, and thought I could always count on my Tap Fam to agree, Ehhhh. Not this time. Now I'm trying to see why I feel the way I do. For some reason, I really feel like this will be like the Poirier vs Holloway fight. Poirier kinda leans heavy on Boxing, and Kattar has some of the best boxing at 145. I would say he's got more stank on his shots tooo. Kattar also has a chin. He took some of Jeremy Stephens best shots, with exception to the leg kicks, cos those were doing major damage. And Stephens is arguably one of the harder punchers in the division. He made an adjustment an came out R2 and absolutely blasted Stephens. Kattar also has a 3" reach advantage. I just see Kattar pulling it off.

Condit vs. Brown
Carlos Condit, DEC
I tell you what. I have argued for this exact fight, for geeeezus christ... Longer than I can remember. And we get it after both are on the downswing of their careers. Daaamn. That sucks. It can still be ******* great. But, I'll always wonder what it "shoulda, coulda, woulda" been like years back when they were both top flight welterweights. Damn.

Ponzinibbio vs. Li
Santiago Ponzinibbio, TKO, R2
Ponzinibbio is one of my loooong-time faves. He's just one of the most exciting fighters on the planet imo. He should smash "The Leech". He should. I'm pretty sure that I said the same thing about Elizeu Zaleski agaisnt "The Leech" and well, we remember how that went. Lol. Gente Boa by devastation. "IF" he loses... Oooo my god, that would be so devastating to his career. Injuries and inactivity have already hurt it enough. He doesn't need any extra help.

Buckley vs. Di Chirico
Joaquin Buckley, TKO, R2
The only thing that I'm questioning is when the fight will end. R1 or R2. And not so much when will Buckley land that blow, but mainly how long will Di Chirico's chin hold up? That's my only question.... I think of Buckley as that little kid, that breaks all his toys. Like damn dude.

Moras vs. Melo
Sarah Moras, DEC
A true loser packs your **** and goes the **** home fight. Melo already probably has her bags packed tho....

Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 5 Perfect, 425 Points   |   Tied for 291st

Holloway vs. Kattar
Calvin Kattar, TKO, R3
bold pick i know, just having fun with the ko, but i do think kattar is the real deal.

Condit vs. Brown
Carlos Condit, DEC
i'm still happy this is happening, hope it's good. maybe condit's brain can handle one more battle.

Ponzinibbio vs. Li
Santiago Ponzinibbio, TKO, R2
wonder how ponzibuddy is gonna look after his time away and i think jingliang is undervalued for the quality of fighter he is, but, still feel like this is set up to be a reminder fight like leon/chimaev will be.

Buckley vs. Di Chirico
Joaquin Buckley, TKO, R2
my initial response to hearing of this matchup was this "this is negligent matchmaking" based on momentum differences.

Soriano vs. Todorović
Duško Todorović, TKO, R2
despite gas tank concerns, i do see upside for dusko.

Imavov vs. Hawes
Nassourdine Imavov, SUB, R2
i'll take a flyer against a gassy hawes.

Wu vs. Edwards
Joselyne Edwards, DEC
still skeptical of wu.

Tafa vs. Felipe
Carlos Felipe, TKO, R1
rebuild up.

Moras vs. Melo
Vanessa Melo, DEC
both on pretty bad momentums and limited, but i don't see why melo couldn't win as long as she doesn't jump into something silly.

Kilburn vs. Lingo
Austin Lingo, DEC
i'm gonna take a few underdogs so i'll stay favorite here because i don't have a good read on it.
