Moras vs. Melo
Sarah Moras, DEC
.....Y'all smell that? Yeah, me too. I'm just gonna pick Moras and be on my way.... As long as she doesn't choose to strike with Melo this bout can be her's.... But seriously y'all smell all of that?

Predictions: 4 of 10 Winners, 3 Perfect, 275 Points   |   Tied for 2097th

Holloway vs. Kattar
Calvin Kattar, DEC
.....I'm not really feeling all too blessed here.... I will say this though, Kattar could really steal the show with a good go.

Condit vs. Brown
Carlos Condit, DEC
Condit.... Not much else to comment here. I mean Matt could wrestle him, but does he want to? Would his body let him?

Ponzinibbio vs. Li
Santiago Ponzinibbio, DEC
Leaning towards Santiago. The layoff does worry me however.....

Buckley vs. Di Chirico
Joaquin Buckley, DEC
So....... I'm not buying the Buckley hype this time. However, he can win this if he fights smart....

Wu vs. Edwards
Yanan Wu, DEC
Edwards had me intrigued for a little bit. But then she's doing this short notice. No thanks.

Tafa vs. Felipe
Carlos Felipe, DEC
Gonna lean on Felipe here. I dunno if Tafa's the guy.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 4 Perfect, 475 Points   |   Tied for 84th

Holloway vs. Kattar
Max Holloway, DEC
Hard one to call. I think Kattar stuns Max early and Max just recovers & gets on the pressure w/ volume and it mutes Kattar. Kattar is not a volume guy, Max has a lot more craft and variety about his offense, whereas Kattar is more of a fundamental boxer with SEXY technique, but its not diverse and he doesn't adjust (apart from Who da fook elbow). So I see Kattar early success, Max soldiers on and no-sells it as best he can and takes control of the fight, really clearly.

Condit vs. Brown
Carlos Condit, TKO, R1
Both washed as ****, Brown is just more washed. I think Carlos just lands something average and chinless Matt (legend) crumbles.

Ponzinibbio vs. Li
Jingliang Li, DEC
All the intangibles say stay the **** away from Ponz. Li could be a sneaky dog here.

Buckley vs. Di Chirico
Joaquin Buckley, DEC
Di Chirico is durable. Buckley coming for the highlight but idk if he gets it. Should win tho.

Soriano vs. Todorović
Punahele Soriano, TKO, R1
Not a big fan of Punahele, really sloppy striking. If you pay attention to his fights its the exact same combo rinse repeat. Throw the left hand sloppy, fall forward, square up & bomb with hooks or exit. Problem for Todorovic is that his defense on the backfoot is atrocious. Leaves the chin hanging out there on a silver platter & his wrestling game comes through the clinch more than open space level changes. Puna is strong enough to defend in the clinch & i think he has 2 hard rounds in him to bully Dusko on the feet. I think it's an early KO just surprisingly & exploiting Dusko's poor backfoot defense, but if not I can see r1 r2 Puna and R3 ****** Dusko round.

Imavov vs. Hawes
Phil Hawes, TKO, R1
Imavov would be a good play if he could strike with his evasive movement. Problem is when he wants to go on offense he crashes in, and that could be an issue with the power of Hawes. Hawes is a tank. He's a gassy boi with some lay n pray oxygen reviving wrestling, good footwork & feint game and big power. He's good at what he is, I just don't like these gassy blacksplosive fighters. He's going to come out looking to unload and get another r1 KO. If he unloads & imavov is still there he's going to start panic wrestling & Imavov will finish late 2nd. Imavov could even front choke in that scenario. But yeah, tank is too powerful I think and Imavov's chin looked sub-par vs williams, so tank via tank **** r1.

Wu vs. Edwards
Joselyne Edwards, DEC
Wu is bad. Odds are off. She really doesn't have much technique to speka of. Edwards is stilll largely unproven but she works out of a stance reasonably well, shows signs that she is playing & reading reactions / feints which is a good tell, and has a natural athleticism & clean movement in her kicks and punches that let you know she is a level above RE: technique. Wouldn't be surprised to see her get a finish here just based on both being aggressive. Edwards needs to learn to use range more though, don't cramp your style.

Tafa vs. Felipe
Justin Tafa, TKO, R1
Tafa is from that Samoan stock. These dudes hit so hard, and are durable. I know De Castro sent him to the shadow realm but that shot had everything in it. Sprinting at De Castro, perfect land, full wind up. Everyone sleeps to that. These Samoan aussies also have this weird explosive turn for how heavy they are. I don't know exactly who Tafa is, and I don't love that in interviews he's saying he did his camp 100% at home and that all his usual partners & coaches weren't around, but I'm willing to take the heavy handed bastard child of Mark Hunt & see how far he can take it. Felipe will be looking to use the jab, be fast, and out land him. It's just that this is HW, so i'll take the bomber with sneaky boxing & fathleticism.

Zawada vs. Emeev
Ramazan Emeev, DEC
Emeev has some ugly striking patterns. The weird leaping lead hand **** he throws is just str8 bad. To really fade him I want a guy who can establish range & counter strike / sprawl desperate doubles. That's Emeev's worst match up, and in some ways Rocco had that, others not. Zawada is much more in your face aggressive, but I just think Emeev is a bit overrated. I don't love a Zawada pick but I can just see him out working Emeev, and maybe being a little too difficult to mute. If I was going to bet it here it's dog or the FIGHT GOES THE DISTANCE bet. I think FGTD is pretty likely.

Moras vs. Melo
Sarah Moras, DEC
Bucket please :S

Kilburn vs. Lingo
Austin Lingo, SUB, R2

Anyone's fight in the main event but I'm leaning towards Kattar as Max looked horrible on the scales and Calvin has been looking like fire in his last few. Really impressed me with his win over Burgos

If you think this card is "half-ass", what do you consider the next 2? This one is clearly the best of the 3.

I'd call you ******** but that would be as big an insult to mentally challenged people as calling cops pigs is to fine swine everywhere.

Oh well, need to quickly find another juicy underdog to back!

Holloway vs. Kattar
Max Holloway, DEC
If I were a big Holloway fan, the 2nd Poirier fight would make me very nervous for this one.

Condit vs. Brown
Matt Brown, TKO, R2
For Dimebag!!!!

Buckley vs. Di Chirico
Joaquin Buckley, DEC
I think this is a lot closer than the picks. I also think the UFC seems to agree with most of you and set this up as a squash but Di Chirico doesn't get KOed and has fought MUCH tougher competition so I could see him surviving the 1st and winning a clear decision

Wu vs. Edwards
Yanan Wu, DEC
Hope I'm wrong

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 4 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 442nd

Holloway vs. Kattar
Max Holloway, DEC
Holloway should box his way to points win. FOTN for sure.

Condit vs. Brown
Carlos Condit, DEC
This could go either way and they are both legends so I'm going to pick my favourite legend here.

Ponzinibbio vs. Li
Santiago Ponzinibbio, TKO, R2
A Ponzinibbio win by KO is the only outcome I can see here.

Buckley vs. Di Chirico
Joaquin Buckley, DEC
Buckley is good but as other people have pointed out Di Chirico has a solid chin so I can see this going to the judges.

Soriano vs. Todorović
Duško Todorović, TKO, R3
Todorović will wear Soriano down and then finish him off.

Imavov vs. Hawes
Phil Hawes, TKO, R2
Hawes is the real deal in my opinion.

Wu vs. Edwards
Joselyne Edwards, DEC
I'll take a chance on Edwards here but I feel that she's the underdog so I don't know why the odds are so close.

Tafa vs. Felipe
Carlos Felipe, TKO, R2
Tafa will start to gas in the 2nd round.

Zawada vs. Emeev
Ramazan Emeev, DEC
Most of Emeev's past wins have come through a decision so that's what I'll pick.

Moras vs. Melo
Sarah Moras, DEC
Easiest pick of the night.

Kilburn vs. Lingo
Austin Lingo, TKO, R1
This could be a quick fight!

Resilient New Predictions

Predictions: 5 of 9 Winners, 5 Perfect, 375 Points   |   Tied for 748th

Holloway vs. Kattar
I desire Max Holloway at -160. He has a captivating sprawl. Holloway shall negate the feat.

Condit vs. Brown
I am loyal to Carlos Condit at -175. He has a wondrous ouchi gaeshi. Condit will incorporate the previous pitfalls.

Zawada vs. Emeev
I go for Ramazan Emeev at -275. He has a yappy jab. Emeev might negate the crowd noise.

Buckley vs. Di Chirico
I appoint Joaquin Buckley at -275. He has an odd hammerfist. Buckley ought to capture the natural order.

Ponzinibbio vs. Li
I go with Santiago Ponzinibbio at -320. He has a tremendous randleplex. Ponzinibbio can damage the canvas.

Moras vs. Melo
I feel disposed to Sarah Moras at -205. She has an excellent knife hand block and a killer heart stomp. Moras isn't about to immobilize the counteragent.

Soriano vs. Todorović
I have a crush on Duško Todorović at -160. He has a casual double wrist lock. Todorović should unseat the achievement. Fix und fertig!

Tafa vs. Felipe
I finger Carlos Felipe at -190. He has a killer tai otoshi. Felipe will boil the underdog. Cavalo dado não se olha os dentes!

Kilburn vs. Lingo
I feel disposed to Austin Lingo at -220. He has a fabulous heart stomp. Lingo isn't about to guess the crowd noise.
