I hear ya big blue alex is just a different less dynamic guy now, after the newb missing weight I gotta rehash.
I fully expect alex to get a boring decision, but a guy who won't coast is always fun and steals fights.

Predictions: 8 of 10 Winners, 4 Perfect, 515 Points   |   Tied for 723rd

Smith vs. Rakić
Aleksandar Rakić, TKO, R2
I do like Anthony Smith, he's maybe over-achiever in some ppl's eyes, I think the move to Lt. Heavyweight was a good move, it was like a different Lionheart. But Rakic is a tough ask. I think he's the younger, better version of Anthony Smith and is better across the board, except for on the mat, I'd give Smith the edge. And wouldn't be a bad gameplan for Smith to try for the sub finish.

Lawler vs. Magny
Neil Magny, DEC
I can't believe this fight. I mean I can. Every top dog has their day when they get beat by someone they should destroy. This fight, Brad will probably break something else. He did fix my door. Lol

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 4 Perfect, 465 Points   |   Tied for 1263rd

Smith vs. Rakić
Anthony Smith, SUB, R3
think people are writing off smith here. rakic is a powerhouse, but i don't think he has the gas tank of glover to keep turning it up as the fight goes on. i'll say he tires.

Lawler vs. Magny
Neil Magny, DEC
if neil can stay composed and out of range then it should be his fight to lose at this point in robbie's career. he can still take a beating though and give back big shots so i'm not expecting magny to get too overzealous.

Kim vs. Grasso
Alexa Grasso, DEC
kim's heart and grit are admirable, but i'm thinking grasso's technicality will allow her to engage on her own terms and hoping that her ground game could be put to use after a well timed level change.

Lamas vs. Algeo
Ricardo Lamas, DEC
this kid is gonna need to really blitz lamas early and make him respect his power or else he's gonna get wrestled around i think.

Ankalaev vs. Cutelaba II
Magomed Ankalaev, TKO, R1
hopefully they pick up right where they left off. ankalaev has more tools.

Pitolo vs. Kasanganay
Maki Pitolo, TKO, R2
just gonna go with the experience edge here. impa could find a sub, but no idea what he's gonna look like standing.

Cummings vs. Di Chirico
Zak Cummings, DEC
yeah i think like cummings as an underdog here, his only ufc losses have been to divisionally relevant fighters.

Caceres vs. Springer
Alex Caceres, DEC
only 2 subs, but subbed giga, so clearly a threat on the ground. still think that caceres can play his outside game and a bad weight cut won't help.

Brady vs. Aguilera
Sean Brady, TKO, R2
i agree with consensus that brady seems the better prospect.

Whitmire vs. Viana
Emily Whitmire, DEC
whitmire is super vulnerable, but hasn't underperformed as badly as viana. on paper, emily leaves too many openings and is bound to get caught, but viana managed to become macedo's only ufc win so i'm having a hard time finding faith.

Martin vs. Cifers
Mallory Martin, DEC
i don't think cifers is too out of her league, but i'm kinda agreeing that she's not the level of opponent that has beaten mallory prior.

He went for 3 rounds, I think Smith has a plan

Ankalaev vs. Cutelaba II
Ion Cutelaba, TKO, R3
Yeah going against the odds

Pitolo vs. Kasanganay
Maki Pitolo, DEC
I think dude is over rated. Coconut got this one

Martin vs. Cifers
Hannah Cifers, TKO, R1
Good take down defense. I can see her beating the sht out of Martin.

Unpopular opinion

Predictions: 5 of 9 Winners, 0 Perfect, 265 Points   |   Tied for 2546th

Anthony Smith could be called an over achiever, I like fight talk he is a dog!
If he can he will win, he goes for broke gasses often and tries dangerous moves.
I'd rather see him cut 15 lb and destroy middleweights, he will "always" have size disadvantage at lhw.
He weighs 205 hell if he was ripped maybe 195-200, just like rich franklin too small for big guys.
It is unknown if he has much power at 205 all his kos are very shop warn and under estimated him.
He has resorted to 2 subs arguably losing prior, against less old beat down guys.
Also similar to Evan Tanner not quite big enough to grapple and take the insane beatings some lhw dish out.
Side note why the proper **** does he lie about being 6 4 looks a weak 6 3 at most ****s sake Jones was taller.

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 4 Perfect, 475 Points   |   Tied for 1182nd

Smith vs. Rakić
Aleksandar Rakić, TKO, R3
Smith coming back against his beating from Texeria against one of the mmost dangerous guys in the division, if he gases out like he did v glover this could be ugly even if he doesn't i dont see him winning

Lawler vs. Magny
Robbie Lawler, TKO, R2
Either Magney smesh or Lawler by violence no inbetween

Kim vs. Grasso
Ji Yeon Kim, DEC
WMMA like both

Lamas vs. Algeo
Ricardo Lamas, DEC
haven't seen anything about Algeo but his record and it seems like a mismatch unless the UFC sees something in him i dont

Ankalaev vs. Cutelaba II
Magomed Ankalaev, DEC
Ankalaev is really good Cutelaba has punchers chance and thats it

Pitolo vs. Kasanganay
Impa Kasanganay, DEC
Like both Kasangany is inexperienced but is a bad matchup due to grappling

Cummings vs. Di Chirico
Zak Cummings, DEC
Cummings smesh

Caceres vs. Springer
Austin Springer, SUB, R2
Never bet on a Caceres fight Springer should win but you never know

Brady vs. Aguilera
Sean Brady, DEC
neither fighter has fought the best competition though Brady is levels ahead technically but Aguilera has good power so could have a punchers chance

Whitmire vs. Viana
Polyana Viana, SUB, R1
Never bet on WMMA both in rocky form think Viana cluthes it though

Martin vs. Cifers
Mallory Martin, DEC
WMMA Martin should win but never bet on WMMA

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 3 Perfect, 425 Points   |   Tied for 1546th

Lawler vs. Magny
Robbie Lawler, TKO, R2
This is the most important fight on this card, Atleast to me it is. If Lawler doesn't kill Magny, or wait, you can't say that, ppl will call me racist. If Lawler doesn't destroy Magny, I don't know how much longer we'll see Robbie. Atleast in the UFC. That Covington fight left a horrible and foul taste in my mouth from how ****** and salty I was. Can't have anymore of that here. He can't do that. I'll be a ragetard again.

Lamas vs. Algeo
Ricardo Lamas, DEC
I find it hard to not root for Bill Algeo. But Ricardo Lamas. Even a less dangerous version of Lamas is a tough fight. I just don't know what Algeo can do, that Lamas won't have an answer for.

Ankalaev vs. Cutelaba II
Magomed Ankalaev, TKO, R2
Ankalaev survives the Hulk's wrath in R1, takes him out in the 2nd...

Its 3 rounds because the original main event was supposed to be Zabit vs Yair.

Why are you so upset about it?

I think title fights should be a hybrid of the old days and modern rules. 25 minutes, no rests, no 10-9 must system. If there's no finish you pick the winner based off of the entirety of the fight. Then you can kind of model the rest of the system like boxing. The prelim fighters can be 3 rounds 5 minutes and the main card fighters can be 5 rounds 5 minutes. You could even make the early early prelims 3 round 3 minutes like they do for amateurs since half the time I can't tell the difference.
