The official Tapology discussion thread for the event!

I am aware ACA has their own site. I am a member and check it out regularly.
The google comment basically means anyone can find out info on fights, fighters etc. 
Plus any1 can pick fights.  I study **** for weeks and get them all wrong other cards I pick blind and get them all right!
I understand your frustration with info being incorrect as it gets on my tits too!
There is just a way to talk to people in life and you blatantly ignore that and I don't know if you do it on purpose or what but you talk down to people and that's ******** bud! 
Look I don't want to be arguing on this site. I like no love Fights abd spend most of my spare time watching, talking about them. I've even threw a few punches back in the day. Until I got in trouble.  Also I'm not a kid, so I wasn't in high school a couple years ago! I just want to have a laugh and talk fights. So if you want to do that that's cool if you want to boss me about and try talk **** don't bother.

Congrats everyone on such a mature conversation that didn't resort to any name-calling.

Let me attempt to clarify a few things.

First, FightCenter editors have absolutely no forum or community moderation capabilities.  They cannot see or do anything with Tapology user accounts.  They have access to edit certain FightCenter information about fighters, events, bouts, and gyms, and no other powers on Tapology.

Next, Editor responsibilities. Each editor on the team has a defined role and responsibility. Mikey1903 is only responsible for broadening Tapology's boxing coverage. Russian MMA results are not his responsibility, not his problem, and whether they are posted quickly or accurately have got nothing to do with him.

Next, who we choose to bring or not bring on as an editor. We don't always make perfect choices and we've had some bad ones in the past, but we nonetheless try to be very careful and selective in who is invited to do this. It is not just about being an enthusiast who can track down results for cards that were streaming. There are other considerations. We need people who will be thoughtful, collaborative and willing to take feedback.

Next, Russia as an MMA region. It's a very challenging region to cover. There's a language barrier and also a cultural barrier. There is a lot of misinformation and manipulation. It's a region we want to continue to improve the coverage but it will take time.

I think Bruce's current official role as one of the resident rabble rousers in the forum is sufficient for now.
