Was not expecting Soukhamthath to be this good.  Guy is getting knockdowns just from jabs.  And Perez is no chump either.

Perez takes 3. I'm leaning towards Perez though it could swing either way.

The moment where Soukhamthath lost was when he either was knocked down or slipped, Perez jumped on him and Soukhamthath chose to clamp down in the guard and eat strikes hoping the ref would stand him up instead of using an active guard.

I get it.

"Haha, Sam is so cool. He smiles alot. What a relatable, fun guy."

But Rashad should ******* starch him. Even in his current form. Alvey is not very good. And if Rashad loses to him here, it's about time to ******' hang 'em up.

How many fighters are known - almost exclusively - for their KO power, yet also known to put on absolute **** fights?

That by itself is a talent. Good on you, Sam.

Rashad Evans frustrates the **** out of me. In his fights, it's quite apparent that for a guy with his mileage, the speed is still there. The technique is still there. The power is still there. Everyone who trains with him is always saying "Man, trust me, this guy still has it!" Yet he is so hesitant. It's like he's worried his chin is gonna let him down.

It is so frustrating, but also so clearly mental. It sucks to watch.

In the most uneventful way, Sam Alvey has beaten the biggest name he has fought to date in Rashad Evans.  Which to me is a bigger sign of how far Evans has fallen from his peak due to knee injuries, rather than how much Alvey has improved.  A prime Evans would have destroyed Alvey in one round.  Rashad should retire and stick to doing broadcasting with KenFlo.

man, was that boring. Alvey seem to always be associated with either incredibly violent KOs or incredibly boring fights.

I love Sam, he's one of my best friends. I'm going to call him in a few hours, but he has to get more aggressive. His last few fights have been really bad. I know the altitude was a factor and Rashad is dangerous. But he's got to change something. His corner knows it, and I think that he has to know it too. It sucks to watch because at this point, I feel like you could justify cutting him even after winning. He's got to change something.

@michigan, I actually get it. He's not athletic enough to push the action, so him have the patience to wait on his deadly counters on most occasions actually makes sense. Notice how when he walks guy's down many times they manage to circle off the fence before he gets there. That's because he lacks the speed to strike at the right time.

In this specific fight, I think he could've banked on a spent Rashad who really needs to get that the game has caught up to him and he just doesn't have what it takes anymore. But in the most part, you can't really blame Alvey for not being more aggressive since most of his opponents will beat him to the punch if he does.

On a different note, America's next top model or not, his wife really knows her ****, I always enjoy her cornering very much. She's edgy, but she sees stuff and always has solid advice.

"Hay lohh you Mike, ay lov you Mike. Hyou say somesing like di fo me, and naw I say you ... I LOV YOU! See you som. Boy." -- Yoel Romero, UFC 205

I can't wait to see Bravo's improvements in his hands last time he showed huge improvements in a short time.Oddly I have followed Bandenay's entire career from the beginning, idky I have just always liked him. He'll probably be too wild and he can be a little all over the place, but Bravo can a little bit too. This fight should be pretty crazy and my pick for FOTN,this fight or the main event are my picks.
