The way I understand it (and I hate it as well) is that Coker does not give two ****s about the prelim fighters. They're there firmly to sell local tickets. They throw them in the cage after the main event to keep an audience there through the TV portion of the card. I guarantee you more people are at the Casino tonight for Bessette than Bendo. He's a big local draw.
