You know the drill. Prelims kick off on Spike.com at 7pm followed by the main card at 9pm on Spike TV.

Decent card. I think the co-main is going to steal the show.

I had tickets to go and couldn't even do it. From what I hear there were still a lot of Sammy O chants, which is a good thing. I'm trying to find a way to post the video he made Friday afternoon. I think his detractors will become fans.

Yeah, him missing weight is going to bring around the people who weren't fans of his. That's logical.

Eh. Silva did okay for taking the fight on a week's notice. He gets a pass from me for missing weight. I think with a proper training camp he could have beat Warren

Yeah, let's vilify a guy who had to cut weight 3 times in 6 weeks. He should have made up some excuse like other guys and said "I'm sick", but no, instead he damn near kills himself trying to make weight. Then he comes out and takes full responsibility and is a straight up man about it, and some ********** sitting in his mommys basement talks **** while jerking off to the thought of being anything close to the fighter and man Sam is. Guys like you would be the reason he starts tearing up 185, but sadly he would rather slice his skin off than pay attention to what *******s like you have to say.

No one else had to cut weight. It's not a tournament format or anything.

Does the third time really even count since he failed to make the weight?

And once again,Rickdubs, you make excuses and insult other fighters, along with insulting those who don't share your hero worship for Mr. Oropeza.

As far as Oropeza, none of my criticism applies to him.  He failed to make weight,  Apparently he was trying to cut too much to fight at 170, and has learned from the experience.  It's part of the game, and no doubt he'll move on without much damage to his career.

You, however, started off here insulting Joe Riggs, saying that he pulled out because he was scared of Oropeza, and not due to a legitimate injury.  Then you insulted Koreshkov, saying once again he was scared of Oropeza, and didn't really have to delay the fight because of the flu.  Now, you praise Oropeza for missing weight, and insult Koreshkov once again, implying that his flu was really an excuse for a bad weight cut.  Which is it?

In all three cases, my bet is on things happening as stated: Riggs was probably really injured, Koreshkov probably did have the flu, and Oropeza had a bad weight cut and will probably reevaluate his choice of division.  Just things that happen in the course of setting up matches.

You, unfortunately, appear to see every thing through a filter of hero worship for Oropeza and vilification of his opponents (along with any fans who dare to not praise your hero sufficiently).

If anyone is acting like a "some ********** sitting in his mommys basement talks **** while jerking off to the thought of being anything close to the fighter and man Sam is", it's you, (Since I quoted that, I left in your poor grammar.)

Time to look in a mirror and give the other fighters, and other fans here, the same respect you demand everyone else give to Oropeza.

Back to Riggs again huh? Let me ask you a question, is it fair that Koreshkov got a chance to fight in the tournament after not being able to weigh in and Oropeza didn't? And it's not hero worship it's sticking up for a FRIEND.  If you say that you wouldn't do the same you are a liar.

Koreshkov was sick and let them know ahead of time, Sammy OOOOO blew his contracted weight. Not even close to the same thing. Plus Oropeza had already previously missed weight in Bellator.

Do you see the blurred line though of "sick". Sam was "sick", like not breathing "sick" while trying to cut the last bit of weight. Idk, if the day of the weigh in, which is when Koreshkov gave notice, is when a fighter is sick, that should disqualify him in the tournament setting, for this reason. Bottom line is Sam needs to step up weight classes and he will do that. Until then, take it easy guys, I'll see you then :)

And yet more excuses.  It is not "back to Riggs again," it is back to taking you to task for your total disrespect of anyone not named Sam Oropeza. Riggs was just your first of many transgressions in that regard.

No, I would not do the same as you.  I would state the reality of the situation, rather than trying to make excuses and blame everyone else.  That does not make me a liar.  It makes me honest.

As for the blurred line, it is crystal clear to me.  Koreshkov had an illness that had nothing to do with preparation for the fight.  Oropeza suffered ill effects of a really bad weight cut.  Worlds apart, in my mind.

Again, no blame to your friend.  My distaste is for you, not him.

Lol you go ahead and believe that koreshkov all of a sudden became so sick on the day of weigh in that he couldn't  weigh in. I'm a skeptic. And my point is, he couldn't weigh in, bottom line. You do for one guy and now you will have a bunch of guys becoming "sick" because they are two pounds overweight on weigh in day. And I'm not accusing Koreshkov of doing that as much as I am saying it shouldn't be able to happen in general. It does become a blurred line.

Regardless, my horse didn't win. ****, he didn't even get to the starting line, end of story.
