This will no doubt be another excellent event by One FC, but I just got a good laugh when I heard that a bantamweight called out a pinweight for a flyweight bout. (Leone vs Docyogen)

Why does that sound so wrong? (i didn't even know there was such thing as a pinweight)

Also, for anyone not aware, apparently Khabilov is dropping to LW to fight Vuyisile Colossa.

I thought 115 was called minimum weight? Could definitely be wrong though.

I thought it was strawweight it seems like this near-mythical division might have a few names though.

@freeman

115-strawweight

105-minimumweight, good call sir. I can't envision even 70 years from now there ever being a 105 MMA division.

There are quite a few tiny fighters over in india and southeast asia but I still would have to agree that the number of adult men that are in prime fighting shape at 105 lbs. has to be really really small.

@all

Pinweight is actually between flyweight and strawweight -- 119 lbs. Personally, I think URCC made it up. Nevertheless, Docyogen is their PW titleholder, and is undefeated at 10-0. It was just odd to see a 135lb guy call out a 119lb guy to fight at 125. But for all we know, Docyogen walks around at a higher weight than Leone.
