    "Suga" Rashad Evans

    20-8-1
Rashad is the most well rounded fighter in the LHW division. His only question mark was his chin/confidence which IMO he has gotten back gradually over the past 3 fights. Jones might be the lHW champion but he hasn't fought the same level of competition as Rashad and he took Rashad's shot whilst he was injured. They need to square off together to prove who is the number 1, but I see Rashad winning that one.

    Jon "Bones" Jones

We haven't seen holes in Jones's game yet - simply because he has out wrestled everyone and has a great striking game (with the height and reach). Out of the top 10 LHWs I only see Rashad and Hendo offering any kind of challenge - maybe Phil Davis in a year or two. Until he beats Rashad he can't be considered the number 1 in my opinion. Love him or hate him, Rashad has a record of 17-1 against top opposition and you cannot deny that the only place we haven't seen Jones is on his back. Against a one dimensional wrestler Jones has proven that he is near impossible to take down. What you can't deny is that Rashad mixes strikes and wrestling like nobody (other than GSP) and that is the way to take Jones down in my opinion.

Shogun is an animal and could beat anyone on his day but he just lets himself down with his lack of cardio and therefore will always be ground down and outworked by fighters like Rashad and Jones. He needs to drop down to middleweight. Simple. Having said that, Shogun is a nightmare match up unless you have great wrestling. Machida - Enough said.
