Interesting and better turn around for both in my opinion.

Coralles has never been knock'ed-out before, by the way.

Pico vs. Corrales II
Henry Corrales, DEC
I like this rematch much more than the original fight that was scheduled for Pico.

Are we seriously counting out Braga against Pitbull?

I doubt anyone is counting Braga out of this fight, especially if they have seen Braga's and Pitbull's recent fights.

Pitbull is absolutely the better fighter but I just can't ignore how bizarre his last two losses are. I'm picking Pitbull by decision but i'm not going to be surprised with another strange performance and a Braga win.

get off my **** andrew you weirdo and yes, PEDs DO indirectly give you a better chance at efficiently sustaining damage. among other things, being on steroids means you're way more likely to have stronger and more developed neck and back muscles which in turn means you're more likely to be able to absorb bigger hits

@justbleed

Tbf he took two fights he definitely should not have taken

I respect trying to become a three division champ but the move to BW was an absolutely terrible idea. He made the weight but clearly had no energy to properly fight and he didn’t look like he could take a punch very well

Then literally a month later, he puts all that weight he just lost back on, fighting in a weight class that he has always been too small for. Not only this, he took the fight off the couch short notice because his brother was fighting on the card. The cherry on top is that the guy he fought (Suzuki) is a ranked kickboxer who has ko’ed everyone he’s fought

@AyyLmaonnaise
The circumstances around those two matchup were way more whacky than this one but this still isn't ideal, he's been training for a volume pressure fighter in Pinedo and now he's matched up against a rangy defensive fighter. Pitbull is an underrated tactician but often fights at his opponents rhythm and pace. I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong on this, but I don't see a finish or a particularly interesting fight out of this matchup.

Coming from a big Braga fan I think this is significantly easier than Pinedo. Pinedo was going to be in his face, had a huge size advantage, and vicious ko power. Braga is a point fighter with low volume and very bad finishing ability. Pitbull should have a much easier time on the feet since he’s not going to get chinned and hits harder. I also think pitbull will grapple here and he 100% has the advantage there. Braga is solid on the mat but he hasn’t shown me anything special on the mat. Braga also hasn’t fought anyone close to the level of pitbull, even a washed version. I guess beating Pinedo counts but the first fight was very close and he got demolished in the rematch

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 8 Winners, 3 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 1426th

Pitbull vs. Braga
Patricio Pitbull, DEC
IMO this is a better matchup for Pitbull, but the questions still remain. Braga is very good and could shock me here. Rooting for Braga to have a feel-good win for his dad, but rooting for Pitbull to keep cementing his legacy.

Pico vs. Corrales II
Aaron Pico, DEC
Corrales is underrated, he doesn't always look elite but he's very good and dangerous. But I think Pico handles him and comfortably wins. Hopefully he plays it smart and gets a clear decision to avenge the loss, if not a finish.

Shields vs. DeSantis
Claressa Shields, DEC
What weight does Clarissa normally box at? This card is not a good sign for PFL with their fighters pulling out and not wanting to make weight.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 10 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 590 Points   |   Tied for 725th

Ferreira vs. Bader
Ryan Bader, DEC
Bader has Ferreira beat just about anywhere. I could easily see Ferreira landing a monster right and putting him to sleep, as Bader simply can't take the kind of punishment he once had the capacity for, but he's just too damn slow for me to see anything other than Bader styling on him. He will be able to see everything coming from a mile away and time his grappling setups accordingly.

Kasanganay vs. Eblen
Johnny Eblen, DEC
I like Impa, but he's thoroughly outgunned here. Eblen could walk into the UFC and be competitive with the top of the division right now. Showcase spot for him.

Pitbull vs. Braga
Patricio Pitbull, DEC
This is a risky fight for Pitbull, because while moving up after a KO loss is obviously the right choice, we need to be mindful of the mileage on him. Pitbull's been around forever, and he just got knocked out in a division far below that of his natural weight class. That sort of damage is irreversible and largely consequential, and Pinedo, being a young brawler, could clean him up early by swinging for the bleachers.

Cooper III vs. Jackson
Jason Jackson, DEC
This should be light work for Jackson. Not much to break down from a technical standpoint. He's just far, far better, and will be able to fall back on his wrestling if Cooper's power scares him a little bit.

Cappelozza vs. Nemkov
Vadim Nemkov, TKO, R2
Been advocating for Nemkov to be in the UFC for a long time now. He's filling out his frame and I'm stoked to see him compete at HW. He's an incredibly potent striker with fight IQ for days to back it up. I love Cappelozza, but this is a showcase spot for Nemkov. He will not brawl with Bruno; he'll dictate the pace, pick him apart at range and finish him off around the midway point.

Santos vs. Romero
Yoel Romero, DEC
A little bit surprised by Santos being favored, but I get it. This feels like a close split, and those typically don't go to Romero. However, I just struggle to see Santos being effective on the offensive foot at all, whereas Yoel can amount to something.

Collard vs. McKee Jr.
AJ McKee Jr., DEC
McKee really isn't built for 155. He's more skilled than Collard, but I struggle to see him climb up the ranks following this. Definitely not UFC-calibre as a lightweight imo.

Ali Walsh vs. Palacio
Biaggio Ali Walsh, TKO, R2
Round 1 or 2, depending on Walsh's goal with this fight. He seems keen on building experience alongside momentum - very, very encouraging to see from a prospect.

Shields vs. DeSantis
Claressa Shields, TKO, R1
I was thinking there may be something to picking DeSantis. Supposedly she could wrestle. 13 years ago. Jesus.

Why is fighters pulling out a “bad sign for PFL?”  UFC 294 had a main and co main change a week before the card
