Also speaking of size advantages, Wood should not be the favorite against Fili. I'm a big fan of Wood and picked him as an underdog against Jourdain, but I don't see how he wins here. Fili, inconsistent as he may be, is a very skilled fighter and will be 5 inches taller with 5 inches of reach. Fili knows how to use his length, so he won't wade into Wood's striking range with his guard up like Jourdain, and has the wrestling to keep the much smaller man off of him. As much as I love Wood, I think his success at Featherweight is being overstated because he was able to exploit a few very obvious deficiencies of his opponents (Jourdain's recklessness and nonexistent TDD, Rosa's subpar striking). I honestly expect Fili to just jab and kick his way to a decision from range, though I do need to watch tape to see how Fili deals with leg kicks

Tom Aspinall, TKO, R1
I really like the UFC Card in Europe and more specifically in the UK. Matchmakers always manage to make an interesting matchmaking show for the fans without the need to use a huge amount of big names or ranked fighters. It's a shame what happened to Tom in his last fight since he was pretty close to a title shot before the loss against Blaydes and the injury that just ended that fight in an unexpected way. For his part, Tybura seems to me the perfect opponent for the return of Aspinall, Marcin has won 4 of his last 5 fights and in my opinion he is an overhated fighter: I lost much of his spectacularity, durability and athleticism after the back to back loss against Werdum and Derick Lewis and after a victory against Struve he was followed by back to back losses again and this time both losses by KO, after that he managed to reinvent himself after the strong first round on many of his opponents, then wear them down with the clinch or take them to the ground and work with ground and pound: these were the keys to his victories against fighters like Rothwell, Hardy and Harris. From my point of view the chances of being a Top 5 for Tybura are a thing of the past but he can still be a Gatekeeper or Top 10 in the HW. Regarding the fight, I believe that Aspinall will win by TKO/KO during the first or second round: Tybura represents an old style of what the HWs are, guys who carry in his power and has lack in durability and athleticism, while Aspinall represents the new generation of fighters who come to the scale with a body fat percentage similar to that of the LHW or MW and with an approximate scale weight of 235 pounds. or less, fighters like Aspinall, Gane and Almeida are faster and more athletic than the HWs of the last generation and with the evolution of the sport the Top 15 of the HWs will probably be filled with HWs with more athleticism than in past times.
McCann vs. Stoliarenko
Molly McCann, TKO, R2
Blanchfield taught Molly levels in the game in her last fight, but I think McCann can still continue to be the great sideshow she was on Fight Nights when she faced the unranked fighters and precisely the matchup against Stoliarenko is just the search for that. Julija will have a heavy weight cut taking into account what it cost her to make 135 pounds in the past and that can further complicate her already limited durability and resistance. Molly can literally win the way she wants if she passes that margin of danger that the first round armbar win means, which is Stoliarenko's only resource, if discipline is maintained in striking even Molly could file another highlight like in her fights against Carolina and Goldy
Wood vs. Fili
Nathaniel Wood, DEC
Wood's weight class change has been a great idea in the sense that he has had 2 great performances and no longer has problems with weight cuts. Fili is a great test for Wood because of his great experience, his reach advantage and because he is generally a fighter with a lot of durability. But I believe that Wood has been solid in his striking at featherweights and grappling has always been his powerful weapon since the beginning of his career, Wood has what it takes to overcome Fili and open a possible matchup against someone like Yusuff someone from the bottom of the Top 15.
Diakiese vs. Alvarez
Joel Alvarez, SUB, R1
Diakase has been fighting a heavy wrestling gameplan lately and although TDD is not Alvarez's forte, Diakase's lack of defensive BJJ is the perfect path for a submission from bottom position. In striking I think Alvarez can take advantage of him in reach and height in addition to his effectiveness with elbows and straight punches to even get a TKO or club and sub. Personally I would like a fight between Alvarez vs. Turner taking into account that they both stand out for their striking and have similar body types.
Barberena vs. Muradov
Makhmud Muradov, TKO, R2
Always root for Barberena after seeing his great performance against Alves at UFC 198 and the fact that he put Leon Edwards and Vicente Luque in trouble is a great example that at the time, despite never getting into the Top 15, he was always a great gatekeeper. But fighting in MW seems to me a fairly high risk and with little chance of success. Muradov's career stalled after being submitted by GM3, but with a couple of wins he can get back on the prospect list considering his highlights against Andrew Snachez and Trevor Smith. I'm sure this will be a dominant TKO victory for Muradov and probably Barberena's last fight in the UFC considering he is coming off 2 losses (although his losses were against big names like RDA and Gunni Nelson).

Yanal Ashmouz, TKO, R1
Ashmouz seems like an overlooked fighter to me and I was actually surprised by the fact that he was so underdog in the odds in his UFC debut. I understand the doubts in the Israeli MMA development, but Ashmouz is a Circassian he is more similar to fighters like Evloev or Rinat who is Tartar, than Adam Keresh and Olga Rubin. Regarding the fight it seems to me that Ashmouz has shown to have good power in his hands and Duncan has been dropped or seriously rocked in all his fights in DWCS or UFC, that is the perfect recipe for a First Round KO win by Ashmouz.
