Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 550 Points   |   Tied for 630th

Makhachev vs. Volkanovski II
Islam Makhachev, DEC
Do I see a world where volk finishes makachev? Absolutely but this is a 50/50 fight and the fact that volk is stepping in on a weeks notice makes me lean makhachev.

Usman vs. Chimaev
Khamzat Chimaev, TKO, R2
I wouldn't pick Usman even if he had full camp. I do not see this going well for him

Ankalaev vs. Walker
Magomed Ankalaev, TKO, R2
I think ankalaev is good enough to expose the glass chin of walker

Aliskerov vs. Alves
Ikram Aliskerov, SUB, R2
Alves is only 32? I thought he was like 37. I do see a world where Alves gets an early KO so I'm staying away from betting on aliskerov but I think he'll be able to survive the early storm and take over the fight

Nurmagomedov vs. Gafurov
Said Nurmagomedov, DEC
I think this will be a pretty close fight. I see Gafurov controlling said for a majority of the fight but I think said will win based on damage. I'm sensing a split decision

Elliott vs. Mokaev
Muhammad Mokaev, SUB, R3
Mokaev has holes in his game but he's extremely good for a 23 year old. What I don't like about his game is he has almost no striking. What I love about his game is he's the opitome of "zero quit" and refuses to lose. I have seen mokaev struggle early then pull a sub out of nowhere & I've seen Elliot having success early then getting finished late & I see this fight going something similar to that.

Yahya vs. Peek
Trevor Peek, TKO, R1
I was gonna fade Peek because he's all heart no talent but yahya seems to be made for peek. Yahya is so hittable and doesn't have good enough wrestling to beat peek

Basharat vs. Henry
Javid Basharat, DEC
Going with the bigger younger and more well rounded fighter. Henry does have pretty good anti grappling and volume striking but I don't think his game will work against basharat

Dumas vs. Azaitar
Sedriques Dumas, DEC
Both garbage. I'll go with the younger more active fighter who has a better gas tank

Jubli vs. Breeden
Anshul Jubli, SUB, R3
I don't think Jubli should be a -400 favorite but at the same time breeden is trash and took a **** ton of damage not long ago at all.

Wood vs. Naimov
Nathaniel Wood, DEC
Woods chin does worry me & naimov has power but naimov has lost to worse guys at featherweight than wood

Silva vs. Magomedov
Sharabutdin Magomedov, TKO, R3
Banger to kick off the card at 10 am. There's something telling me that magomedov is a fraud but Silva has no striking defense

@Parlay Boss
Peek does get tired and his volume slows down a little, but he keeps fighting through the exhaustion very well. It's like once he gets tired he is actually at half gas tank because he keeps going.

@VicStrk
I do agree with you.

Peek is a dog and he will continue to fight in his unconventional and awkward way until the end.
However, this fight is taking place in Abu Dhabi, which means he will get dehydrated much faster and will be fighting against the crowd. Yahya was born and raised in United Arab Emirates and will be fighting very comfortably in his home town, with something to prove and the judges on his side.

I know this is a pick'ems fight, but I gotta side with Yahya on this one. Yahya just needs to get passed the fight round of Peek's onslaught and he should be good for the rest of the fight. If he doesn't get passed the first round, it is because Peek knocked him out in the first 2 minutes of the fight šŸ˜‚

I think I like my chances of Yahya surviving the first round and doing enough in the fight for the decision win.

Crap....you are right. I forgot about the  Abu Dhabi climate. There is a reason why fighters arrive there weeks in advance..... **** IT I am just gonna hope that Peek gets him out of there in the first.

This might be controversial but I don't think Peek is much better at striking on a technical level than Ben Askren.

I dont know if Usman was training and in fight shape but if so, I dont see how Chiamev could beat him. Usman is strickly better in every thing. Only reason he could lose is that he did not do the proper trianing for that.

Also, wath a tough guy this Warley Alves! The definition of no fear! He already had some big upset, hope he can do another one even if its not likely going to happen here.

2023 Usman is not strictly better at anything compared to Chimaev. His wrestling has been declining for years due to those shot knees and he cannot fight off his back foot which he's probably gonna have to do against Khamzat.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 575 Points   |   Tied for 314th

Makhachev vs. Volkanovski II
Islam Makhachev, DEC
Islam via Dec. Will be another hell of a fight but in Dubai, Hasbulla will be there and Volk coming in on very short notice. Volk will give him hell but the power of hasbulla will be too strong...

Usman vs. Chimaev
Khamzat Chimaev, TKO, R2
Khamzat via KO/TKO. Usman is amazing for taking this fight on short notice. Full camp this one would have been very interesting but Khamzat is a stud and will give Usman hell.

Ankalaev vs. Walker
Magomed Ankalaev, TKO, R1
Magomed via KO/TKO. Johnny has looked good in his past few fights but I cannot trust his chin. Normally when guys get hurt they can recover. When Walker gets hurt, he is just straight up out of there, no recovery. Magomed comes in and makes a statement here.

Aliskerov vs. Alves
Ikram Aliskerov, TKO, R1
Ikram via KO/TKO. Alves is dope for taking this on short notice but Ikram will be too much for him here.

Nurmagomedov vs. Gafurov
Said Nurmagomedov, DEC
Said via DEC. Said is one of those fighters that is pretty good everywhere but not so much amazing in one field. Plus his gas tank is pretty bad once the third round hits.

Elliott vs. Mokaev
Muhammad Mokaev, SUB, R3
Mokaev via Sub. Tim has looked good as of late but Mokaev comes in here and gets another finish. I am interested to see how that knee is doing though.

Yahya vs. Peek
Trevor Peek, TKO, R1
Peak via KO/TKO. Can see Peek throwing the kitchen sink at Yahya and him just crumbling.

Basharat vs. Henry
Javid Basharat, DEC
Basharat via DEC. His style is perfect to counter Victor. Henry looked good in his last fight but hasn't shown anything special.

Dumas vs. Azaitar
Sedriques Dumas, TKO, R1
Dumas via KO/TKO. Abu gets caught here and goes out. Dumas looked better in his last fight and has worked on his grappling a bit more.

Yu Frey vs. Dudakova
Victoria Dudakova, DEC
Dudakova via Dec. Frey is bad. Womens MMA so anything can happen but still..Frey is bad..

Silva vs. Magomedov
Sharabutdin Magomedov, TKO, R1
Shara via KO/TKO. Silva hasnt look good at all lately. Easily hittable. Lets see what this emotionally unstable one trick pony can do.

My issue is Usman takedown defence is so good, even tho heā€™s older, he has 97% takedown defence and only been takin down once.  is Khamzat going to be able to get multiple takedown on him, and donā€™t think Khamzat that good of a striker, only person who has the ability to stand with Khamzat (Burns), had a competive stand up fight with him

I think people who think Usman has no chance is silly, itā€™s a winnable fight for him, think people over rate Khamzat and overrating how done Usman is

Just noticed this is gonna be Usmans first 3 rounder in quite sometime. I understand that it will likely benefit Chimaev but still interesting to think about.

Volk is one of the best gameplan fighter ever, you canā€™t be better at gameplan and just good strategy then Volk,

Iā€™m worry with this fight being 11 day short notice, Volk might not have the time for the best gameplan, But at least itā€™s a rematch so Volk have an idea and the last fight he had a amazing gameplan

Sportswashing event with bad matchmaking. This is the 2023 UFC.
Easy betting event though I guess and I hope Nathaniel Wood doesn't get robbed, cuz he ain't getting a finish.

Makhachev vs. Volkanovski II
Alexander Volkanovski, DEC
Volk is not someone you want to fight more than once, he will have lots of micro adjustments from the first fight as seen by his improvement as that fight went on. I think he might even 50-45 it.

Usman vs. Chimaev
Khamzat Chimaev, TKO, R2
Khamzats a beast, Usmans coming on short notice with broken knees and a possibly broken chin, its not looking good for usman.

Ankalaev vs. Walker
Johnny Walker, TKO, R1
I'm taking the dog, punchers chance is real here

Volk has gotta know something that we don't if he's taking this fight.

Usman vs. Chimaev
Kamaru Usman, TKO
Wouldn't be surprised if Khamzat won but I think Usman is a far greater test for Khamzat to overcome. Kamaru has great power in his hands and also seems like he may be more likely to stave off Chimaev's

Aliskerov vs. Alves
Ikram Aliskerov, SUB, R2
Hard to deny Aliskerov at the moment.
