The results have been out since last night I don’t understand why they have not added them yet

Roy Jones kept a good high guard and was rolling with most of the punches while he was going in and out of range. I thought Roy won that fight but it’s whatever 

Yeah I do agree that Pettis was whiffing a lot of his shots but at the same time he was landing some whilst Roy wasn't throwing enough to even land. To your credit I did hear that the form of the punch helps gather points in the boxing scorecards, so if that is true and it implies to defense as much as offense then I can see Roy getting more rounds then I initially gave him (I gave him at most 2 during the fight). I would like to know however, did the shots that Pettis land (for as much as he may have missed potentially) not win him the fight over the shots that Roy went for that looked prettier that were in a much smaller amount of volume, or again is that not a factor when it comes to judging boxing fights?

Why haven't the results for this event come in yet?

No clue, it will most likely be up in 1-2 days I'd imagine, Tapology usually covers bigger MMA promotions, quickly, non-mma events or local mma events take a bit more time

Lmao. I can’t believe how delusional boxing fans are to believe that RJJ won. Bias/being a fan aside I understand RJJ an old legend and beloved and sure Anthony Pettis shouldn’t celebrate too hard on the win (though he did show respect and kinda hold back as the fight went on like Vitor Belfort did at times maybe with Jacare Souza), however at best maybe you can give Roy one two or barely three rounds. That fight was not a draw also. I truly believe Pettis won 8-0. No debate not even arguable. Aldo Stephens was a war and ended up in a draw which I agreed with. Originally I thought maybe Aldo won 4-2 though super close could go either way, so it’s a draw as it should be. Other fights/prelims were okay. Overall better than a lot of the PFL fights with all due respect.

It was pretty much Pettis’ activity that won him the fight, which to be fair to the judges was consistent with how they scored earlier fights on the card.  Honestly if Roy threw even 50% more punches he probably wins easy but that’s what killed him in the end.  Like I said, while I had Roy 77-75 I could’ve seen the same score for Pettis since some of the rounds were tough to score.
