I think it unfair for the rest of the division that Cejudo is getting the title shot after not fighting for 3 years, It's not like they not other deserving contenders, It the most stacked division ever, I wish they gave the title shot to O'Malley and made Cejudo fight a number 1 contenders fight  just so the divsion can flow normanlly, The winner of Yan/Merab and Chito/Sandhagen are also in contention for title shot and it would suck for a derseving contender to have to wait for O'Malley vs Sterling to happen

Also, O'Malley technically beat Petr Yan even if it was a really **** decsion that borderline robbery

MEh both have seriously bad/questionable wins their bout can get out of the way then maybe a serious fight can happen.

@DamienHandel420

They're giving Cejudo the title shot because all the UFC cares about is ratings.

@tepid what ratings? Cejudo reitred because he wasn’t selling any ppvs, so the ufc wasn’t paying him anything. He’s getting a title shot because he never lost the belt and retired a two division champion. No different than jon Jones coming back and fighting for the heavyweight belt

At least Jon Jones was a returning superstar. If Henry Cejudo wasn't an Olympic gold medalist, he wouldn't be marketable whatsoever.

P.S.

I would have rankings for every division and use tthat to determine contenders and title shots.

O'Malley will bring in more rating then Cejudo, Casual fans know who O'Malley is and will be one of the most famest fighter on the roster, Cejudo isn't really known by casual

@duck JJ has a massive layoff, weather he's the goat or not it wasn't his respectful division, they don't have alot of contenders but they could of made Stipe, gane, Pavlovich or blaydes any 2 of them, but they gave it JJ because it's JJ

@tepid you’re missing my point, I’m saying Henry isn’t marketable at all. The casual fan doesn’t even know who he is most likely. He’s earning a title shot because he never lost the belt at 135 lbs when he was active

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 430 Points   |   Tied for 1432nd

Petroski vs. Petrosyan
Andre Petroski, DEC
This should be Petroski's fight. Unless Armen has improved his takedown defense he will get controlled and beaten to the next position and there won't be much he can do about it

Gracie vs. Jourdain
Charles Jourdain, DEC
This is Jourdains fight to lose. Unless Kron has developed some wrestling skills he's gonna have to bang it out. I will admit though his striking isn't that bad for being a Gracie

I saw a vid on Youtube that hinted that it is O'Malley against Sterling and not Henry.  Any validity?

One of the worst take I seen TBH, But then Tepid was calling Volkanovski a failed hype train after losing to Makhechev, So I think he just a goldmine for bad takes

Sterling vs. Cejudo
Aljamain Sterling, SUB/KO late 2nd or early 3rd
I think that Funky is just too big for Cejudo. Of course Henry could pull-out some magic trick out of the hat, but lets be honest Aljo ain't no kid who will fall for that. He proved me so wrong in Yan's 2nd fight already. Not a fan of him or something, but guy is champ for a reason and gets better by every fight. Also this long ass break for Cejudo doesn't make me lean toward him to win anyhow. This could go to judges easy too, depends if Aljo can get it done before that.

Wow Aljamain finally gets a Main Event for a PPV card. I think Henry is getting too ahead of himself. I think he mentally in his head already won this fight and he is probably aiming at Volkanovski because he is fishing for the Featherweight strap too

I will say Henry has one thing going for him his competitive nature, even when losing he never slows and pulls a W.
Aloe has to stay steady pressure or he will be in same sad group as Dom and TJ or getting highway robbed like DJ.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 4 Perfect, 540 Points   |   Tied for 263rd

Sterling vs. Cejudo
Henry Cejudo, TKO, R2
These are the two smartest guys in the Bantamweght division. Aljo is the best grappler. Henry is the best uwrestler. Henry also has the power advantage. Henry by KO mauling.

Petroski vs. Petrosyan
Andre Petroski, DEC
This fight is awesome. Petroski will attack to the mat. Petrosian can explode up. If it's not over in rd1 it comes down to gas tank.

Clark vs. Nzechukwu
Devin Clark, DEC
I thought these guys already fought. Clark is the bigger Dog. Clark will wrestle him for 3 rounds for decision. Kennedy has the ability but doesn't always show up. Just like Jung.

Gracie vs. Jourdain
Charles Jourdain, DEC
Bruh, why are you booking him against guys with 10 losses. Cub has ground defense but Jourdain has cardio for days.
