Yeah, Like Rory MacDonald maybe Pettis, Werdum, Marreta and Stephens don't have or did have a real chance of winning the Million Dollar (although Rory and Pettis were projected to), but they can or could get good payrolls per fight (based on to be an established name in the UFC) faced a lower level of opposition. OAM and Shoeface were released from the UFC and in the PFL, in addition to being champions, they managed to make more money in a year and a half in the PFL than in their entire career. AJ McKee and Vadim Nemkov also won a Million Dollar Bellator Grand Prixes. I wouldn't be surprised to see good UFC fighters (those who are not Top 5 Contenders, but are above the average level in the UFC) avoid renewing their contracts in the UFC (as Costa is trying to do), and then go after the big prizes. money in PFL Season Brackets/Bellator Grand Prixes or even dabbling in boxing. For me, Shoeface in 2021 and OAM in 2022 has set a precedent, they could return to the UFC to seek to get into the Top 5 of their Weight Class, but they have found greater opportunity and financial security in the PFL format. The highest recorded payout for Carlos Jr. UFC for a fight in the UFC was 80K (40K for taking the fight + 40K in win bonus), in PFL last year he made 100K per fight (50K + 50K for win bonus) against a much lower level of opposition and that's without taking Keep in mind that the previous year he won the PFL Championship and a million dollars. Magomedkerimov and Ray Cooper III probably won't even make Top 15 in the UFC, but they make better money in PFL per fight than several UFC Top 10s in the same weight class.

About the pay checks :

I think that all of them they are lying, both ways from the fighters side and from the UFC side, i think that they getting much more money but simply they don't tell to us the real numbers, especially the upper class fighters.... ! Plus, we already know for some checks behind the curtain... ! 

I remember Ankalaev being hurt and dropped in a UFC fight, but I can't remember wich one it was... Volkan Oezdemir maybe ? Not sure...

Impa offered to fight OSP this weekend . Good fight. 

But is being dropped by Volkan a bad thing? Volkan seems to be a guy who has power. And he had a chaotic fight with still young Krylov who doesn't seem easy to KO 

It was Santos that dropped him, not Volkan

Mb I missunderstood, I thought It was a satire that he didn't technically know but he knows (And I'll be honest I didn't watch Anka vs Volkan) 

What would you guys think is a safe parlay? Im thinking Ankaleav + Shahbazyan. Is Rosas Jr, Saaiman, or Paddy safe enough to be included?

I honestly wasn’t impressed with Salvador’s DWCS performance, he’s sloppy and ****y. Ross is a can and he should’ve been able to finish him within the first minute of that fight, I can see Silva desperate for a win and getting it Saturday

Ah, yes thank you, it was Thiago Santos that dropped him, I remember now...

And somehow I completely forgot the wild Cutelaba first fight, where he got hurt a bit.

So yes, he has a decent chin, but he is hittable and hurtable. Against someone like Blachowicz, who hits like a polish truck, it's crazy to be that big of a favourite...

Anyway, it will be interesting.

(And no, Rulebender, no shame in being dropped by Volkan Oezdemir, the guy lost quite a bit recently against quality competition, but he's a solid fighter with huge power and good technical stand up).

Personally think Bryce Mitchell and Ilia Topuria have a good shot at leaving with the FOTN bonus. What other fights might end up stealing the show this weekend?

I think we're about to see the Daukaus Brothers get KO'd back to back lol...

They both peaked fighting guys on the same level as them. Now they're getting clobbered by anyone who is above that level. Doubt either of them are going to be in the UFC much longer
