I told you guys before. Marcos started as the favourite
And the misguided betting public who don't understand how to analyse a fight bet him to a huge dog. You can see why he was the obvious favourite at the start. Made a pile of cash with the stupidity of the casual public. Sorry, not sorry! 😅

Yeah Nunes should blow the doors off Fairn just as easily. She's failed to make her last 3 scheduled bouts and hasn't seen a 2nd round inside the UFC. Josi Nunes has weird power and her head is inside her chest - what you gonna hit? If you told me that was a young Gilbert Burns I wouldn't argue.

Not sure why the picks closed early, but I'll give some predictions on some fights anyway:

Glovervs Hill: I think Hill is certainly capable of knocking Glover out. His power is crazy. The thing that worries me about Hill in this fight is his lackluster TDD. Glover has very good wrestling and if his chin holds up, he should be able to time takedowns on Hill. Once the fight hits the mat, I don't think Hill will be a complete fish out of the water, considering he is pretty explosive and is a BJJ brown belt. I just think Glover has too good top pressure and eventually he will get to mount and Hill will be forced to give his back for a RNC.

Moreno vsFiggy: Dangerous fight to pick. Figgy has more power and the hometown advantage plus the most recent win, so I'll slightly edge him but certainly not a confident pick. The cardio and continuous improvements being made by Moreno should scare most Figgy betters.

Burnsvs Magny: I actually completely understand taking a huge underdog shot at Magny. He has the big reach advantage and Gilbert has shown to struggle against a good jab. The power and explosiveness of Burns will probably push Magny back to the cage where he will get taken down. Burns is the far superior grappler, so I expect him to want this fight to play out there. Having a striking fight vs Magny wouldn't be smart.

Walkervs Craig: Craig is sub or bust. He sucks at striking and has **** wrestling. Johnny Walker literally has to just use his brain for 15 minutes (or probably less) and he will beat Craig by not falling into his guard. Walker by KO could be a prop to hit.

Lacerdavs Stamann: Stamann makes too many mistakes for me. Lacerda has unreal BJJ. Also, before anyone gives me ****, Lacerda is not Paul Craig. He is a far more credentialed grappler than Craig and has decent wrestling. His striking leaves a lot to be desired, but he has good timing on his takedowns, and despite being a wrestler, Cody is not invincible to being taken down or even giving up his back to get up as most wrestlers do. If you give your back to Lacerda he will choke you out.

Marcosvs Oliveira: Marcos has nasty low kicks and overall good technical striking unlike Saimon. I think Saimon is outclassed on the feet. He has a lot of Guillotines on his record, but I don't expect Marcos to shoot at all. If Marcos can stuff the takedowns, he wins this fight clearly imo.
