Damn this is only 3 months after Oliveira vs Makachev. Hopefully Oliveira sparks Makachev quickly & defends against the winner of gamrot/Dariush. He deserves a fight in Brazil

This is Figgy and Moreno 4. I don't think the UFC would make that a co-main for the second time in a row, but this could also be Teixeira vs Prochazka 2 in the main event. Just a guess.

Most likely either figgy vs moreno 4, Nunes vs Ketlen vieira or maybe if Aldo wins against Merab it'll be him vs the champ. They can honestly do all three with a killer rest of the card to start 2023 with a BANG. But I don't think they'll put 3 title fights, most likely two

Main Event/Co-Main Event Prediction

Predictions: 11 of 15 Winners, 3 Perfect, 680 Points   |   Tied for 1801st

Agreeing with @BallisticBrody on this one; the UFC just agreed to a huge braodcast deal for the region, and it will be the first time in 3 years being there. I predict they will build this card similar to what they are doing with UFC 280 right now.

Jiri vs Glover II, as well as Figgy vs Moreno IV all make sense for this card. Coincidently Moreno was on the card last time they were in Brazil.

It would be SO SICK if Jose Aldo vs winner of Dillishaw/Sterling made this card (pending a victory vs Merab obviously) but probably too soon of a turnaround!

^ True about Aldo, but I hope it happens, he's the king of rio, I really wish they have him on the card but hey we also want both challenger and champion to be in perfect condition for their title bouts and that means they can't comeback too soon if they aren't ready

If Do Bronx does quick work of Islam, I don't see how he would turn down an opportunity to fight in Brazil. The problem would probably come with the opponent. The winner of Dariush vs Gamrot is a possibility but that's still just a 3 month turnaround. If that can't happen then maybe Fiziev or something. Idk Fiziev doesn't deserve a title shot yet he needs another win but I really just want to see Oliveira fight in Brazil. He lives there, trains there, gives back to the community. If ANYBODY deserves to fight in front of his people, it's Charles Oliveira

Amatuer Card Builder for this event

Predictions: 11 of 15 Winners, 2 Perfect, 655 Points   |   Tied for 2140th

Main Event: Deiveson Figueiredo v Brandon Moreno IV.
Co-Main Event: Magomed Ankalaev v Jan Blachowicz (LHW title eliminator) or Amanda Nunes v Ketlen Viera.
Main Card Fights: Paulo Costa v Andre Muniz (assuming Costa beats Rockold, which I think is highly likely); GM3 v Andre Petroski; Tatianna Suarez (?) v Tecia Torres; Paddy Pimblett v Renato Moicano/Thiago Moises; Ottman Azaitar v Guram Kutateladze; Ricky Simon v Umar Nurmagomedov.
Prelim Fights: Douglas Silva de Andrade v Kyler Phillips; Ariane Lipski v Jessica-Rose Clark; Melissa Gatto v Luana Carolina; Mason Jones v Uros Medic; Augusto Sakai v Parker Porter or Rodolfo Vieira v Edmen Shahbazyan; Priscilla Cachoeira vs. Maycee Barber (stole this one from mulefloyd); Emily Ducote v Luana Pinheiro.

This assumes that Charles and/or the best available LW challenger is unable or unwilling to make a quick turnaround after 280. If this assumption is wrong I'd make Charles v anyone as the Main Event. Also, I believe it has been reported that the UFC wants Teixiera v Prochazka II in December, so I didn't consider that.

Way more interesting than Nunes v Viera, plus that has to be the second most important fight at LHW right now. I don't see how it's more preposterous than them fighting in America. Admittedly, I don't know what visa issues Ankalaev would have, but if Pavlovich was able to fight in the US back in June I don't know why Ankalaev would have a problem getting to Brazil, since Brazil and Russia are diplomatically closer.

Main event will likely be Jiri v Glover 2, Jiri vs Ankalaev, Figgy vs Moreno 4, or in the case that Oliveira takes no damage and beats Makhachev, Oliveira vs Dariush/Gamrot

Man I would love Cruz vs Aldo here but I think Cruz needs more of a timeoff. So ******* unfortunate that we couldn't get Frankie vs Cruz and most likely wont Cruz vs Aldo all because of timing issues

Options for Aldo

Predictions: 10 of 15 Winners, 3 Perfect, 695 Points   |   Tied for 1635th

Idk if this is aldos last fight or not. I feel like it would be a good time to retire. Right now he can still beat 80-90% of the division which is crazy considering how stacked bantamweight is. He's had an incredible career & I wouldn't hate if this card was his last fight before he starts to take that Tony Ferguson/Cruz type damage.

I also think Jones and Miocic are done. Theres a maximum of time you can stay away without looking like Rumble or Gustafson when you return.
