Of course after 40 fights and 12 years of brawling Erosa's chin isn't made of granite, but it's probably too late in his career at this point to try to become an outside point fighter even though his body is much better suited to that style of fight. It wouldn't be the right matchup to try that anyhow.
Get Dawodu tired mix in some grappling to further that process and just wear him down then go for a rd 3 finish.

Nate vs Tony = 5 round main event
Khamzat vs Holland = 3 rounds co-main
Leech vs D-Rod will only go through if D-Rod stays under the 185lbs limit an hour before they do the ceremonial weigh in

UPDATE:
-Diaz is an underdog against Ferguson... wow. I think this fight goes similarly to the Pettis fight.
-Chimaev is -430 against Holland... he can submit Holland. Holland has zero wrestling.
D-Rod vs Leech, I don't know. It should go to a decision. Can D-Rod wrestle/grapple?

When I fought at 135 I would REGULARLY go from 16-20lbs over on Sunday/Monday to on weight by Thursday/Friday. Regularly as in every single one of my fights. At 170 him not making that weight is just ******* eating baby food and crying while watching The Little Mermaid levels of weak.

No way Khamzat was planning on making weight. He was eating at a restaurant the night before weigh ins. And this whole week he has been starting fake beef to create interest.
Make Khamzat miss weight, switch matches to the original plan with much much better matches (who doesn't want to see Diaz/Ferguson and Khamzat/Holland and even Li/DRod)
Also gives the UFC an excuse to keep Tony and Diaz on the roster even with their losing streaks.
All a setup in my opinion. The UFC are marketing geniuses.
Am I the only one that thinks this? 🤔
