The odds and tap picks are so off on Lipski vs Priscila. Like people still think Lipski is a world beater. She's far from it and Priscila poses risks to her everywhere the fight goes. In fact she has a very clear path to victory. Only problem is Priscila has been out landed in all of her UFC fights. So if she can't catch Lipski clean at some point in the 15 minutes she's almost certain to lose a decision. But she's pretty tough and 15 minutes of throwing hands is a long time so I'm happy to spend a few $ on the more durable fighter with a strength advantage even if she's not as technically polished.

Predictions: 2 of 6 Winners, 1 Perfect, 165 Points   |   Tied for 3874th

Vera vs. Cruz
Marlon Vera, TKO, R4
If this was a 3 round fight, I might lean towards Cruz. However, I think Chito's stand up game has improved a ton his past few fights and his durability will come in clutch during another 5 round fight.

Onama vs. Landwehr
David Onama, TKO, R1
This should be a banger. Both of these guys have entertaining fights. Onama seems to have real power, and a good jab. I don't like how easy it is to keep a jab on Nate.

Meerschaert vs. Silva
Bruno Silva, DEC
I know I'm biased because all I'm looking at is how well Silva's fight vs Pereira has aged, but I don't care. Betting on the fighter who has a "Paul Craig" path to victory always feels awful.

Hill vs. Godinez
Lupita Godinez, DEC
I think Loopy's chance to get takedowns and win off the scorecards is too likely to bet anything else. Hill's takedown defense has never been a strong suit and I doubt she's made leaps and bounds in that department at this stage in her career.

Osbourne vs. Nam
Ode Osbourne, DEC
Nam could definitely put out Ode; big power vs sus chin. However, I think being 38 (almost 39) at Flyweight is too detrimental vs someone as quick and athletic as Ode.

The level of competition heavily favors Witt, but I'll take the dude who's confirmed on the sauce.

Lol, people picking that fat dude Buday over Brzeski might be crazy. 88%  on that fat bi*ch? I guess most of you haven't even watch a single of his fight. Tonight legendary polish power triumphs again!

@Sasquatch I picked the fat dude because I've watched his fights.  Excited to see what Brzeski brings, though!

Vera vs. Cruz
Dominick Cruz, DEC
Believing that Cruz is healthy I'm going to roll with him winning this matchup. Chito's performance on Font the punching bag is making a lot of people doubt Cruz

Onama vs. Landwehr
David Onama, TKO, R1
Nate's toughness can bring Onama into deep waters if Nate doesn't get finished early

Hill vs. Godinez
Lupita Godinez, DEC
Goodbye Angela Hill

Benítez vs. Ontiveros
Gabriel Benítez, TKO, R1
Goodbye Ontiveros

Final picks; went Vera initially, but I'm going with Cruz. Vera is going to start slow and Cruz has built a career out of being top-tier from the get-go. Vera cannot afford to drop the early rounds, even if he goes after the legs later on in the fight. It'll be a hard-fought decision, but Cruz should have this in the bag.

Lipski vs. Cachoeira
Priscila Cachoeira, DEC
Think she

Meerschaert vs. Silva
Gerald Meerschaert, SUB, R2
Going on a wim here. Silva more likely to get the win. Meerschaert is gonna be my goof pick.

Hill vs. Godinez
Lupita Godinez, DEC
Should be a good fight. Angela is a great gatekeeper.

Brzeski vs. Buday
Martin Buday, TKO, R2
Size will be the factor. Brzeski does not have much of a gas tank. Swings wide as well.

Nunes vs. Calvillo
Nina Nunes, DEC
Team Nunes on a roll.

Benítez vs. Ontiveros
Gabriel Benítez, DEC
Going with the masses. I think charlie has lost to the better competition.

Osbourne vs. Nam
Ode Osbourne, TKO, R1
tough one. I think Ode has the speed advantage. Should be enough.

Witt vs. Quinlan
Josh Quinlan, TKO, R1
Jason wont be able to deal with the forward pressure if he cant get it to the ground.

Zalal vs. Blackshear
Youssef Zalal, DEC
Late notice fight. Maybe Zalal will break the losing streak.

Marlon will cut off the cage and land the bigger shots. Once dom slows down Chito will get more accurate. Would love to see the upset.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 515 Points   |   Tied for 465th

Vera vs. Cruz
Marlon Vera, DEC
i think vera will be able to not just chase dom and force some exchanges.

Onama vs. Landwehr
Nate Landwehr, SUB, R2
this low name value card has me feeling risky so i'll say nate can dodge/survive the big shots and work his way inside to outwork onama on the ground.

Jauregui vs. Lucindo
Yazmin Jauregui, DEC
yaz has had more consistent competition i guess.

Clark vs. Murzakanov
Azamat Murzakanov, TKO, R2
question will be how tired devin can get azamat in r1 because he can win a grind, but if he doesn't force him to work then he might get clipped again.

Lipski vs. Cachoeira
Priscila Cachoeira, DEC
i foolishly picked priscila's aggression last week, i'll collect that loss this week.

Meerschaert vs. Silva
Bruno Silva, TKO, R2
still high on bruno silva, he should be far too much on the feet as long as he can keep it there.

Hill vs. Godinez
Lupita Godinez, DEC
incoming classic angela hill split decision where she maybe wins but doesn't get the scorecards.

Brzeski vs. Buday
Martin Buday, TKO, R1
trying to find a reason to say that lukasz can find his way inside and find the back, but buday's ko power can't be ignored.

Nunes vs. Calvillo
Nina Nunes, DEC
nina was just beat by superior grapplers and this could be threepeat, but she very likely is the better striker and i'll say she can stuff early td entries and avoid the clinch?

Benítez vs. Ontiveros
Charlie Ontiveros, TKO, R1
screw it, i'm gonna take a flyer here and say charlie's size advantage allows him to land the bigger shots.

Osbourne vs. Nam
Ode Osbourne, DEC
i think he's very capable of winning, but tyson just doesn't throw enough volume to be confident in him.

Witt vs. Quinlan
Josh Quinlan, TKO, R1
witt's chin has been unreliable.

Zalal vs. Blackshear
Youssef Zalal, DEC
without knowing much about blackshear, it'll be a question of how confident we are in zalal's distance management vs da'mon's unknown wrestling factor. i think moving down to 135 will work in his favor, should be one of the bigger guys there and his striking is solid.
