This thread will function as a kind of omnium gatherum for the melange of dissenting observations and opinions I have about MMA, MMA bouts and fighters, things I find humorous, and essentially any other thing. Why? Because sewage warrants proper curation as much as anything else. Arguably more.

Toshers and specklebellies welcome. No mutton-shunters, namby-pambys or needy-mizzlers. Pull up a stool and smother the parrot.

Well, the way Buddhists believe reincarnation works is far, far more bleak than is commonly believed. If you read the canonical texts, especially Theravadist, they explicitly say that virtually nobody ever gets off the wheel of samsara (life, death, rebirth) and to do it, you need to not only eliminate all suffering and desire from your mind, but you need to stop thinking entirely. The people who manage to do this are called 'Buddhas'. There hasn't been many of them.

Actually, come to think of it

why aren't we all celebrating the Omicron variant? It's far and away the most mild and least-harmful iteration of the virus we've had so far. Nobody has died, or even been Hospitalized due to having caught it. Isn't this what we were all hoping for--that COVID-19 would evolve to become increasingly mild?

I do hope you're not implying that Her Royal Highness Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of her other realms and territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith (actual full title) is involved in any scandalous seediness associated with the late, disgraced Jefferey Epstein!

Prince Andrew is fair game though, no way he's 100% clean.
