As you might know I'm Tapology Boxing editor. I know the majority of you guys are here for MMA, so was I originally. But for the last year or 2 there is a little more interest in Boxing on the site.

I've tried tracking down some of the boxers on the card to see if they turned pro and what happened to them. I've only found 2 so far: Johnny Pinnock and Tony Grizzle (who coincidentally fought each other on this card in the "J. Pinnock VS A. Grizzle" fight which Pinnock won according to the annotations). Judging by their pro records, I am curious as to the standard of boxing on display that night! Anyway, I was planning on trying to find out as much info as possible about this card as a project to work on in my spare time (which will be time consuming seeing how obscure this card is!) but that's gonna be an interesting little project.

That would be amazing to watch! I think the fact that it's from 1987 and so the footage would be grainy as **** by modern standards would actually make it a more enjoyable watch as it would feel "rawer" I guess? There's probably loads of modern boxing cards about the same size as this that someone records and winds up on YouTube but nobody ever sees that sort of footage because of how obscure it is. The only time you really see amateur footage of an amateur or low level pro fight is when something crazy happens in it.
Having said that, I've watched Jamie Quinn get out pointed over 4 rounds more times than I can remember with varying degrees of footage quality.

Anyway, I love seeing a journeyman like Quinn pull off an upset win out of nowhere! Guys like him fight 2,3 even 4x a month!!! Especially now that the UK small Hall shows are back up and running. There are boxing journeymen all over the world but the UK has some of the best(worst). I upload/edit 1000s of fights a month and about 10% of them are the same 10 or 20 British journeymen!!!!

Yes, not only am I white, I also have hands as well! If I set up an OnlyFans and just posted pictures of my hands, would anyone pay for that? Just seeing if there's a niche market to exploit lol!

Wes O' Neil is probably my favourite, he is MMA but may have fought a boxing bout or 2
