Bro I don't see how Pickett has an advantage on the feet over Holmes? Pickett has some of the worst striking and striking defence I have seen. And Holmes has some very decent head and body kicks and some good boxing with a good fundamental jab.

Also they will both be fighting someone with the same reach for once, and Pickett does not know how to use his reach.

Am I missing something?

Benitez Vs TJ Brown

Been watching tape on these two. I think its a much closer fight than the odds indicate.

Benitez has experience but he is also older and has taken a lot of damage. Yes he has good leg/body kicks and decent boxing but he is very hittable and gets rocked in almost all his fights. He also tires out in R3 and his take down defence is surprisingly poor for an AKA member. Also I know everyone talks about his kicks being so powerful but when was the last time he really damaged someone with his kicks?

TJ also has decent boxing but is open to leg kicks. He is also hittable and gets rocked, He has good wrestling and submissions and is with James Krause. Gas tank not too bad but also not great.

I think there is a good chance either could get KO'd and there is definitely a chance that Benitez gets subbed, especially in R3. Overall I still lean towards Benitez as he has a good get up game and scrambles on the ground, and though his take down defence is not good enough against a chain wrestler like Barzola he will likely be ok against TJ who is unlikely to attempt as many take downs.

I am now betting the fight not go the distance rather than taking a side. Its too close to call.

Forgetting rankings or level of opponents and all that stuff. It’s crazy how Chikadze’s victories over Swanson And Barbosa are getting down graded. Those two fighters are the real deal. More stock is being put into Kattar taking a beating from Holloway.

@deliquentmma I was saying earlier how I think this is one of the most closely lined fight cards I've seen in a while. Kinda waiting for the props to come out I have a couple I'm interested in depending on what odds they are. But right now I just got brito ML -130 and over 2.5 in the main -135.

If Kattar had strappling (grappling) he could be a force, but his Boxin' may not be enough to overcome the Georgian bully Karateka, with his diversity in strikes, I hope Kattar silences the doubters though, somehow

I think if he counters properly and closes the distance he should have success. I’m confident in his countering as that is his best attribute but he will have to work for closing the distance. I suppose he could use his wrestling because he actually has credentials but that would be very unlikely; I expect he’s gonna stand the whole time
