With the recent surge of the rona I wouldn't be surprised to see at least another 3-4 matches get pulled the week of the fight.
I am not going to invest any more time looking into these fights, just gonna let it play out and see what we end up with on the day of the card.

And really the UFC had a whole month to get substitutes ready in case this happened to the first card of the year. Do they care? Nope, so why should we?
Also for all the poor souls in America, just heard ESPN has given you all a new years gift and increased the price of PPVs to a ridiculous $75 USD. Excellent news.
A yearly subscription to a good VPN is around that price isn't it?

On the positive side I was probably going to lose my parlays because I had picked Michel Pereira over Muslim Salikov and AlHassan over Buckley. So I probably saved myself some money.
Still why couldn't the Demopoulos/Gomez and Maia/Chookagian or the Collier/Sherman be the fights to get cancelled? It's always the good fights that get cancelled.
For anyone interested the Nunes/Arietta boxing card on ShoBoxing should be pretty decent viewing!

I think I have been thinking the wrong person has the ability to finish. I think Kattar is very durable and I doubt Giga will be able to finish him, especially as he slows down after R2. I Kattar doesn't get caught with something unforseen in the first 2 rounds he should be good.
Then in the later rounds as Giga tires Kattar may well be able to catch him with his boxing.
I am now thinking of betting the Fight goes the distance in case Giga does win (good odds for this) and hedging out with Kattar money line or KO prop. Only concern is the leg kicks.
Any thoughts guys?
