Yea. I wrestled a few minutes. She was telegraph info big time. Keep in mind, mma wrestling is its own style wrestling that requires its own tactics. She had such the fight before and didn’t have time to work getting into the legs on a tall striker, who strikes well in the clinch. She wanted to get inside, clinch and go for the body locks vs a Thai fighter. It’s happened to better fighters. Look at a Greco guy like Hendo fighting Silva.

I see a few big differences in mma.  For one she had no faints, striking or tD dips, mixed into the striking. She’s doing one or the other, not mixing it together throwing off your opponent’s balance and timing. As you said, very predictable. That was a weeks notice or so, right?  Another thing is she’s one and done on attempts then just got caught in that clinch, where her opponent was clearly better in and really knew how to use her range with that Thai style. Another big thing for me was she tried what worked her first fight, but didn’t have time to adjust because both gameplankng and the time to game plan/execution. She was also exhausted physically and her muscles could not require. When your body goes your mind gets stuck too. I’m mma now a days, more than ever, you also really need chain wrestling. Wrestling combos and flow just like striking combinations, you need to throw more than one attempt, especially when so predictable in the first. She couldn’t lower levels then duck around or drive to cage then lower level and get hands locked to scoop.

She was predictable and one and done. There’s no doubting that. Question is was that fatigue from the quick turnaround and body exhaustion and lack of time to game plan vs that long rangy style. Not all long mma fighters use their reach as well, especially in the clinch. Godinez had no adjustments. With a full camp, I think she could’ve easily won that fight. This isn’t as quick a turn around but still quick I think. I don’t follow as adamantly as I used to. I could be wrong. Bodies need to recover. It may be a better endured fighter than last time or she may hit a wall again. We’ll see. Picking wise I just think those are a few intangibles

Predictions: 4 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 275 Points   |   Tied for 2627th

- Most difficult fights to predict were Aori vs Durden and Levy vs Garcia for me.
- Aori has looked really good, Durden just hasn't seem to be able to put it all together in the UFC yet, than García honestly looked better than people are making it out to be Levy hasn't proved anything + Garcia can hold his own on the ground.

I think Soriano is a beautiful pick, rocked Giagos early but obviously there is a clear cut way to beat him get him to the ground. Shayilan couldn't hold Culibao down, which means I highly doubt he'll be able to hold Soriano down. Shayilan went 2-14 on takedowns against Culibao, I think Soriano starts hard in the first and gets his hand raised taking at least 2 rounds, even if Shayilan takes him down Soriano should be able to not be held there.

García vs. Levy
Natan Levy, DEC
This is the kind of fight between a fighter who has shown great Fight IQ (even when he has been close to being knocked out) vs. a fighter who has shown questionable Fight IQ. Levy has a Karate background (so he has good striking with an arsenal of punches and kicks) and possesses a high level of wrestling and athleticism. On his part, Garcia has a large number of victories by submission (7 victories by submission) even though he mainly dedicates himself to striking (1 victory by KO). Rafa Garcia against Gruetzemacher came out in the first round to knock him out (although the majority of Chris Gruetzemacher's losses have been by submission after being controlled on the ground) at the time he managed to hurt Gritz, but the frenzied sending added to the good Gruetzemacher's body shot work conditioned Garcia's performance in the remaining rounds. Levy has not faced a fighter with the record of Rafa Garcia, but in the last fights within the UFC of Luke Sanders and with the fight of Emmers vs. Sabatini I learned not to pick fighters with questionable Fight IQs in close matches or when they are predicted as super favorites.

McKinney vs. Ziam
Terrance McKinney, SUB, R1
McKinney is the powerful striker in the matchup, while Ziam is the one with the best technique. Although it is difficult to close distance in the study round, I think that if McKinney comes out to press like Vendramini did in the last round against Fares, McKinney could get a knockdown and instead of going to the ground and pound he can look to take the back and Get the rear-naked choke. All this in the first minutes of the fight. If the fight extends to a second and third rounds it is much more likely that Ziam will ride the bike, he will be able to keep his distance and get the division with his superior technique.

Durden vs. Aori
Cody Durden, SUB, R1
Durden was dominating his last fight (both striking and on the ground) before Flick did that genius of transforming a leg kick into a flying triangle choke (masterprice choke for Flick) there is no shame in a defeat like that. Aori is a durable fighter, but in the third round against Molina he finished in the Kattar-Holloway zone receiving more than 100 significant strikes in a single round, plus he has never faced a wrestler like Durden. I think Durden has had a year to properly prepare to fight in flyweights (his debut against Flick had to be postponed 2 weeks from the original date, due to the extreme weight cut), if he achieves a performance that combines his initial effectiveness against Flick With the search and submission attempts against Gutierrez I think Durden can get the rear-naked choke in the first round. If he has problems with his cardio again, Aori has a lot of chance to grow as the fight progresses.

Bro don’t bet pinero, she a huge favourites and she never went out of the first round, Sam Hughes is ****, but her just having a pulse in the 2nd could win .

It’s a 50-50 fight, a bet on Hughs ain’t dumb, I just lost to much money on Hughes to bet her fight, I also lost the tapology fantasy gambiling game because she quit on the stoll as I have the over 1.5

I agree she wins with ease but I have picked Hughes with a bit of bias since she's from same place as me in her last 2, so I do wanna see her win. But seeing a lifelong Muay Thai atomweight take Sam down in the clinch with relative ease is a strong red flag against Luana who that's pretty much her specialty. Like I said I'm just skipping the bet but I think Hughes is really up against it here.

Pinero pulled an Aljamain after 4 minute in a fight she winning, and she never went over a round, No way I'm betting Pinero at -400, Just Sam having a pulse in round 2 could mean she wins, But saying all that, I actully got a bet on Pinero round 1 parlayed with Miesha Tate over 3 rounds as I think she a monster in the first and the odds were crazy on it

Also I say WMMA in general is dog or pass, Most women aren't trustworthy as favourtes, I think betting WMMA favourtes is the worth investment in gambling, As they can loses, It just Volitile, I never fault anyone betting on a WMMA underdog unless they're fighting a Nunes or Valtina, It just a good investment

@ayyLmaonnaise yeah I did mean Jake Matthew's lol, I was so high rewatching the fight I deadass thought that was Alex Morono and just saw what you said.... but point still stands if Chiesa works a double jab, sticks to the outside like in the Luque fight, picks when to shoot when Brady is throwing heavy and being the veteran he is keeps it close on the feet in the first 3-4 mins I think getting into a scramble or getting Brady down to snag the end of the rounds.

McKinney could very well defeat Ziam but Ziam literally back pedals the ENTIRE FIGHT, dude is so annoying to watch, and he’s really light on his feet so he’s hard to catch
