This is a lock. Dern is one of my favorites but her striking is still a work in progress. She was losing the striking battle to Hannah Cifers until she locked on a leg for dear life. Just a spot for Marina to move up and eventually compete for the title
Elliott vs. Nicolau

Might be the toughest fight of the night to pick. Elliot’s pressure is my deciding factor
Agapova vs. Mazo

This will be a fight between 2 very similar fighters. I’ll go with the more professional option: Mazo by the skin of her teeth
Hawes vs. Winn
Phil Hawes, TKO, R2
This should be a seemless striking KO for Hawes. Winn is a top wrestler and though Hawes likes to wrestle, Henry Hooft has to be developing a striking gameplan for Hawes
Romanov vs. Vanderaa
Jared Vanderaa, DEC
I really despise Romanov after he robbed Espino of finishing him in the 3rd round of their fight. I think Romanov is better but Vanderaa is tougher. The longer the fight goes the more Vanderaa has a chance.
Rosa vs. Jackson
Charles Rosa, DEC
Rosa as a dog, Damon Jackson lacks the sheer ability to coincide with his experience. Rosa will squeak out another tough decision
Godinez vs. Hughes
Lupita Godinez, TKO, R2
This will be a 100% stand up fight more than likely. Loopy's power might make Sampage quit, mark my words

To be honest I don't know enough about either guy in this one. I know Garica is wild he likes to be aggressive and throw big looping shots and Ontiveros has a very unorthodox style of striking where he throws axe kicks and he likes his spinning techniques. Ontiveros is a pretty big underdog which I'm kinda surprised about, I think he's gonna be able to use his range effectively and his footwork will be able to avoid the forward pressure of Garcia

I personally don't get this one - I don't see why Dern is being picked so heavily, her stand-up game is developing but Rodriguez is far stronger in this department. I think she's able to stay off the mat and beat Dern up in the end. I see a late finish with volume or a decision for Rodriguez.

Agapova vs Mazo

Agapova looks to be the more aggressive fighter, but her striking is pretty sloppy. Once Mazo cracks her chin, she'll be fighting off the back foot for the rest of the fight.

Just think Godinez is much better, her boxing is much crisper, she hits hard and can defend the takedowns. She can probably get takedowns herself here. I don't think Hughes is UFC caliber at all really, I see her getting out classed everywhere here unfortunately
