I think the BUYS duo will be SELLING after this CARD
Predictions: 2 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 100 Points | Tied for 3525th
JP Buys and his wife are fighting on this card... they are trying to act like its nothing to have a loved one get beat up in the cage and it doesnt AFFECT THEIR UPCOMING FIGHT but I have seen it time and time again. like Pettis brothers ... one lose and the other lose.
Then they say later interview... they were a little emotional in their fight because so and so got beat up badly.

Gregor Gillespie, SUB, R2
a KO loss is a difficult experience to overcome, but I think Gillespie will show why he became a top 10 in the category. Gillespie must go back to the old strategy of him looking for the takedown and finishing with arm-triangle choke or ground and pound. Riddle is a good striker and may have a chance on his feet, but I don't think he can defend Gillespie's takedowns and control.
Griffin vs. Song
Max Griffin, DEC
Unpopular opinion but Griffin has faced greater opposition, Griffin has never been knocked out or vastly outmatched by any striker: despite losing Griffin knocked down twice to Elizeu Zaleski, the fight vs. Cowboy Oliveira was truly closed, Griffin destroyed the face of Mike Perry (another knockout artist). Song defeated 4 of his last 5 opponents, but curiously none of them are in the UFC anymore. The keys to victory for Griffin are using the jab and looking for takedowns.
Dawson vs. Santos
Grant Dawson, DEC
A fight that is more even than many think, Santos has a good chance of knocking out Dawson if they fight for a long time standing. On the ground Santos could surprise with an armbar or triangle choke. But I think Dawson has a lot better cardio and with his great control on the ground he can secure an important victory against an opponent who achieved victories over fighters like Stevie Ray, Kevin Lee, Adriano Martins and Antonio Rocco Martin.
Giles vs. Dolidze
Roman Dolidze, SUB, R1
Dolidze is more complete and middleweight is probably his ideal weight class. Giles in his last fights defeated Krause by split decision (Krause with a short notice day) and Bevon Lewis by third round KO (Lewis clearly didn't have the UFC caliber). Dolidze on his part was calm to find the finish against Ibragimov, but he looked desperate to repeat this against Allan. Dolidze must seek takedown, dominate position, and then seek submission. Although Giles survived Krause's submission attempts, he was submitted by GM3 and Cummings.
Avila vs. Stoliarenko
Julia Avila, DEC
Julija Stoliarenko has always been projected as a good prospect, but despite having a good effectiveness for submissions, she does not have good striking and does not have good wrestling. Avila has enormous superiority when it comes to fighting standing up, Avila only has to worry about keeping the fight standing up and being careful when Stoliarenko pulls guard.

Derek Brunson, DEC
I think Brunson is one guy that could stop Kevin's antics. I'm prepared to be wrong, but I'm also prepared to have that dude finally exposed in a main event.
Gillespie vs. Riddell
Gregor Gillespie, DEC
I hope Brad is attending his wrestling classes, otherwise it'll be a long night.
Tuivasa vs. Hunsucker
Tai Tuivasa, TKO, R2
Yeah, Tai takes this one early. Dunno if Harry can make it to round two though....
Yanez vs. Lopez
Adrian Yanez, SUB, R3
It's a long shot, but perhaps Yanez could steal the show with his black belt. Or... What I've seen anyway.
Griffin vs. Song
Max Griffin, DEC
I see Max getting it done.
Buys vs. Ruiz
Cheyanne Buys, DEC
I think Cheyanne has it easier than her husband. Let's hope so.
Reneau vs. Chiasson
Macy Chiasson, DEC
I think if Macy takes her time, she can get this done late.
Dawson vs. Santos
Grant Dawson, TKO, R3
I think the young buck gets it done late.
Giles vs. Dolidze
Trevin Giles, DEC
I can give Giles the rub if Dolidze's cut becomes a disaster. Otherwise.... This could be interesting....

Derek Brunson, DEC
This is a close one and I've been back and forth on it all week but I've settled on Brunson. He is more experienced and he has the wrestling which is the tool that will dismantle Holland's hype train. Holland will look good on the feet but simply wilt under Brunson's pressure. Brunson has improved a lot recently and I believe it's enough to win this fight and then some. Brunson by either late finish or convincing decision.

Tai Tuivasa, TKO, R1
Honestly at this point I think it's the best scenario for Tuivasa. Short notice fights are always tricky, but at the end of the day, now he's fighting a very mediocre fighter that actually lost a fight to Tuivasa's previous sheduled opponent, Mayes, who wasn't that great of an opponent himself. It should be a first or second round KO for Tuivasa, and maybe that's his best role in the UFC : he isn't top 10 talent, and when he's trying to compete against decent competition he either loses (vs JDS, Ivanov, Spivak...), or is boring to watch (vs Arlovski, Struve...). Let him destroy the Rashad Coulter and the Cyril Asker of the world with Flying knees and barrages of elbows ! Let him be the fun silly Heavy handed gatekeeper to the UFC !

Gillespie vs. Riddell
Gregor Gillespie, SUB, R2
Gillespie is a beast, Lee just caught him slipping with that KO
Tuivasa vs. Hunsucker
Tai Tuivasa, TKO, R1
Easy
Yanez vs. Lopez
Adrian Yanez, TKO, R1
Not yet
Buys vs. Ruiz
Cheyanne Buys, DEC
#14 in the US vs. #1 in Mexico. Only standout factor here though is Ruiz taking this fight on a 5 day notice. Had she gotten a full camp I would've rolled with Ruiz comfortably
Reneau vs. Chiasson
Macy Chiasson, DEC
Goodbye math teacher you had a decent run
Giles vs. Dolidze
Trevin Giles, DEC
My underdog pick. Plus Dolidze plays with his food too much for my liking
Jackson vs. Strader
Montel Jackson, DEC
"The key is to hit and not get hit"
Buys vs. Silva
Bruno Silva, TKO, R1
First fight of the card is almost always some wild unexpected outcome. I rarely go with the favorite for the first fight. Plus Bruno has fought Dvorak and Ulanbekov (both savages) in his only 2 ufc fights and went to a draw with Casey Kenney back at LFA. Not too confident on this pick but I wouldn't be surprised mfs

Is this the worst fav of all-time?
Look at her record, ..I'm not saying she is def gonna lose but you have to play Ruiz at nearly +300 here
Purple belt at 10th planet, obv Ruiz has a size disadvantage but this has WMMA Train-Wreck match written all over it.
