UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker

Luis Pena   vs.   Khama Worthy

Pena, KO/TKO R3.

Khama isn't that good, really. He's kind of like Bobby Green, but about 1/4th as good. Does a lot of showy/fancy **** that doesn't pay dividends. He's also terrible on the ground.....gets reversed easily, gives away dominant position too easily. Not a great gas tank. He fades if he can't get his opponent out of there early, and I don't see him finishing here. Pena is a solid fighter, good everywhere, hard to land on, utilizes his range well. I think he gets it done lateish, when Kharma runs of petrol.

Brendan Allen   vs.   Kyle Daukaus  

Allen, KO/TKO R1-2.

I don't think this fight is as close as people are assuming. Daukhaus has a mean as **** D'arce Choke...but that's about it. Very poor footwork, no real power, low output, very, very porous guard. Even his TD's are average/poor. T E R R I B A D cardio, my god--do yourself a favor and watch the Gbollie fight. Allen is bigger, hits far, far harder, has very good cardio, has a very strong defensive grappling base and a mean RNC of his own. Allen is better everywhere that isn't on his back with a forearm around his neck. Frankly, I don't  think this fight ever hits the mat. Allen is just going to smack the **** out of Daukhaus for a KO/TKO within 2. Annihilation.

Jordan Griffin   vs.   Youssef Zalal  


Griffin, Sub R2.


A KO/TKO is equally possible. I have no idea what anyone sees in Zalal TBH. I don't see anything standout in any aspect of his fighting at all. Pretty buck-standard  thai-based regional fighter. I guess people are going to pick him in this because he has a quite a few subs, but further inspection of his record reveals that the guys he's choked out have probably choked themselves out falling into vacuum cleaner cords. Most of his last 5 wins have come by decision, and he lost mariscal, who is basically just a smaller and worse version of Griffin. He's not subbing Griffin, and his boxing defense sucks...so yeah. I'll be picking him to get finished here.

I wouldn't pick Gall over Perry if Perry turned up with his lead hand taped to his nutsack TBH.
