Poirier vs. Hooker
Dustin Poirier, TKO, R4
Hangman is going to trouble him with calf kicks especially early but I think Dustin has the better boxing, power and cardio. I see him slowly breaking Hooker especially if he targets the body.

Imperatorfishrat - I agree with your Allen pick and even a finish.  But I DISAGREE with Karma Worthy not finishing Luis Pena. Luis does not train at AKA with Daniel Cormier anymore. He stopped about a year ago or more. He does his own thing.   He does have length but look at the way he fights - its very amateurish.

Luis Pena fights like he is still on TUF show instead of being in the UFC roster.  Has he gotten better Yes!
For Example - if you put Luis Pena vs Alex Caceres... I'll pick Caceres 10/10 times to win.
Luis Pena vs Chase Hooper -  He would probably win about 6 out 10 times.  but he would get submitted 4 times or even TKO'd like Teymur.

Kharma might win, but if it gets out of the first round the probability of that happening drops off a cliff.

Predictions: 4 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 215 Points   |   Tied for 2589th

MuMu - I see four: Borella, Greene, Villante, Gall.

Out of the Four you mentioned... which one has the best opportunity to win & stick around.

Once you figured that out-- go to Betting counter put down your $$$ lol

I think Borella is done. Greene is still green. His TD defense and BJJ is white belt at best. if there's a Beyond White Belt - I would throw that on him.  Villante has Chris Weidman.  Decision win
Gall or Mike Perry - Perry has 2 losses and Gall coming off a win.  I want Perry to win but I think he will lose.

Maybe a fraction of one...

Predictions: 4 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 215 Points   |   Tied for 2589th

Luis Pena is not a world beater... or even half of one.

He has advantages of height and reach but do not utilize them well like Neil Magny does or like other long fighters do.

Luis frustrates the heck out of me...

Poirier vs. Hooker
Dustin Poirier, TKO, R4
I used to like Hooker, but he's becoming quite the arrogant prick recently. He mocked a young fighter (Rohskopf) for quiting on the stool last week when he realzed he had no chance of winning the fight, and called him a marshmallow, but honestly, himself should have quit on the stool against Barboza. After the first round, it was obvious he had zero chance of winning that fight. After the second round, I thought he may never recover from all that internal dammage he was taking. The last round should have never happened, he could have died in there. One way traffic, total carnage by Barboza. He took one of the most horrifying beating ever in MMA, and it wasn't competitive at all. What is he proud of, being a punching bag ? A tough marshmallow ? It's not like he was tough enough to make it to the end either, he crumbled on his knees after a body shot, and stayed in foetus position while Barboza was celebrating, I thought he was dead cold. I really hope Poirier makes him quit on the stool here, so Hooker can return to his humble form.

-Main Card-

Woodson - Don't think Erosa is skilled enough to stop Woodson from either getting a TKO finish or winning a decision. I think Woody is too big and can use his length correctly.

Greene -  Umm. I feel like Greene should get the finish but i also feel like Villante ******* always ****s me over when I'm ******* sure he's not a ******* problem.

Allen - Should wreck this kid and definitely get a finish here.

Perry - If Perry loses, well. Haha

Poirier - I don't think that Hooker has zero chance like most people seem to believe, but I do believe that Poirier will win either late stoppage or at least a decision. Wouldn't really shock me to see an upset here either though.

- Prelims -

Hansen - I feel like her grapling skills and size advantage will carry her here.

Griffin - Basically for the reasons already stated here.

Sato - Even with opponent change, he should take this via KO.

Lins - This is pretty equal in terms of ******ness. At least Lins has a little power and I feel that will be what wins him the striking exchanges.

Pena - He could lose in the first round but its his game after.

Anyone else feel the Allen/Daukaus line is a bit too wide? Allen looks like a killer and has a huge experience edge but I think Daukaus could make this fight tough for him. I am always biased toward other lanky grapplers like Daukaus but I feel like his long striking and front headlock game could make this a sweat for Allen.
