Now if we are on average pretty serious MMA fans and we find that stoppage (or lack of) difficult to watch - what do you think first time spectators would think?

Refs have an incredibly tough job, but it's difficult to find an excuse for letting a fight go on 10 seconds beyond where it should have ended in 99% of the populous's eyes.

The rules need to be redefined and and made much clearer when we have 2 "professional?" judges and one judge gives one fighter all 3 rounds and the other judge, sitting a mere 20 feet away watching the same fight, gives the other fighter 2 rounds.
