i think Buckley's style will tempt him to be in a more explosive fight hopefully, Luques grappling isnt great to sit through

All those hating on Ruziboev……..

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 2 Perfect, 520 Points   |   Tied for 383rd

As a training partner of Ruziboev at Martinez BJJ in Philly I’m gonna let u all know dude is the truth. He shows up everyday and is tough as nails. When him and Brady go at it people just stop and watch. After he sleeps dumas he’s gonna get a top 15 guy and work his way up from there. Stop hating on him and watch him fly.

I've really enjoyed reading through the convo about Ruziboev. Seems like he could be a good fighter, especially one that's improving recently with getting a good debut win and moving to a good camp. However his record has some questions no doubt. Whether it's fixing or not hard to say, maybe he just has crazy long arms so he can really wrench on a kimura 😂 but it's still hard to believe that would work against decent grapplers in a major promotion. Whether his record is fraudulent or not (or to what degree), we'll find out if his skills are!
Though probably not in this fight. Dumas is almost as bad of a fighter as he is a person.

Also, Ruziboev has consistently fought like 5 times a year. Crazy! Even if 9/10 of those were running through 2-2 fighters, or veterans on their last fight of their career.

Blanchfield vs. Fiorot
Erin Blanchfield, DEC
Close Dec or late sub . -140/-150 seems accurate bc she’s an absolute dog and Manon isn’t

Luque vs. Buckley
Joaquin Buckley, DEC
Slight lean to Buckey bc I think Luque is damaged goods. Hope he proves me wrong

Silva vs. Weidman
Bruno Silva, DEC
Silva should only be a small favorite like -150 instead of -300 I just saw. But I’ll still roll with him

Njokuani vs. McKee
Chidi Njokuani, TKO
I predict Chidi misses weight and bc the sport is a joke that allows sanctioned cheating the fight will proceed. Still think line is wide though . Close fight

Ruziboev vs. Dumas
Nursulton Ruziboev, SUB
Please cut this ghetto trash criminal. I could understand if he was good but he isn’t .

Algeo vs. Nelson
Bill Algeo, DEC
Close fight

@cool c cool that you train with him but doesn’t change the fact he has had some fixed fights on his record. Also no investigative work, you search his name on YouTube and the fights are right there

Luque vs. Buckley
Vicente Luque, DEC
Luque has looked pretty flat in his last few performances, especially defensively, and Buckley has the exact kind of style to take advantage of that. We saw Geoff Neal landing on and hurting Luque for 12 mins before getting the KO. That being said, Buckley isn't on the same level as Neal so I can see Luque grinding through to a decision. But definitely both guys can have their moments in this one.

I’m more sus with him being 30-8 whilst also fighting cans, then him just fighting them and beating all of them, The boxing way to build prospect isn’t alway the worst, I’m sus that a lot of these can are beating him

But also, In alot of his recent fights, he looks good, so maybe he’s got a lot better and we shouldn’t judge him on his past

How... HOW? Two weeks in a row of womens **** MMA main events.... legend Weidman is on this card put him on top... put Luque and Buckley on top...
Oh well, may make for an interesting card as it usually does when it looks horrible.

I think most of his losses were to decent fighters (at least with decent records), but I agree that it's still concerning. Either that he lost most of his steps up in competition, or that his record gets substantially worse when you factor out all the mismatches.
But like I said his UFC debut alone makes me at least excited to see if he'll be fun at the ufc level.

I don't know whether there's fixes or not but I watched every thing I could of Ruziboev last time out and I did find some fights that looked like the crowd would have killed his opponent if Ruziboev lost. Like seriously scary mood in what looked like fights held out in arse-end of nowhere where everyone from the crowd, the event organizers, the camerman to the ref badly need Ruziboev to win for the honor of the nation. That kind of a vibe. That could impact you as the opposing fighter whether you got payed to lose or not lol.

I would have to agree with you that Buckley technically is the more dangerous fighter. Not sure if he’s the smarter fighter. Usually he’s not. But, last 2 fights he’s shown he can fight smart.

Yall love the idea of Rizubeov losing cuz he’s low key fraud. Not gonna happen this week. So just let let it go. He’s gonna win. Dumas is a sitting ******* duck on the mat. Ruzubiov has only been Koed only once out of 45 fights. And that’s the only way Dumas wins here. Don’t care what you think about his record. He’s simply the better fighter. You can’t convince me he has a padded record for all 45 fights. Gtfo

Khabib fought at least 15 russian taxi driver before going to the UFC, And in the UFC he one of the best ever, Suga Sean was givin easy wins, now he the champ and look amazing, Charles Oliveria took a step down in competition after the Felder fight, Really help him improve to become one of the best ever. UFC doing the same thing with Bo Nickal

The boxing method of building prospect is a good way to build prospect, trial by fire isn’t alway the best way to build prospect. If they’re making the cans look like cans it not the worst thing

im a fan of ruziboev. i hope he makes a run to the rankings and puts on a show, but at the same time, those fights do look sus. he has some holes in his game all u can do is hope he continues to improve. wish him and brunno could have went a little longer cause it was a tad flukey.
