Moreno vs. Royval II
Brandon Moreno, TKO, R2
Moreno é o melhor lutador aqui no geral, pois possui a combinação de ser o striker mais duro, ser mais durável e mais eficaz no chão.

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 5 Perfect, 645 Points   |   Tied for 605th

Zellhuber vs. Prado
Daniel Zellhuber, DEC

Man if only MMAi's prediction confidence reflected the actual market, I could get Chris Duncan at +567. Or Mendonca at +233 or Luis Rodriguez at +233. I think those figures need some work.

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 405 Points   |   Tied for 4173rd

Moreno vs. Royval II
Brandon Moreno, DEC
Moreno on his best day is the best Flyweight in this sport, He shows out here to earn yet another title fight rematch. 50-45, 49-46x2 Uni.

Rodriguez vs. Ortega II
Yair Rodriguez, DEC
29-28. Yair wins the first one clearly, the second round is him at first but it somewhat fades to Ortega, a toss up round but Yair does alot to warrant him keeping the fight on his side. Third round Yair is getting tagged by Ortega and Brian tries to get the crowd involved as Yair moves backwards, both men bleeding, Yair stays on the outside and tries to keep his range, they throw gloves to end the fight giving the fans what they love. Ortega however might have capitalized better if he went on the offensive rather than crowd pumping. 29-28x2, 28-29 Yair, split.

Zellhuber vs. Prado
Daniel Zellhuber, SUB, R2
Rear Naked Choke after a wild fight but Zellhuber really shows out here and almost dominates in each phase.

Rosas Jr. vs. Turcios
Ricky Turcios, TKO, R2
Turcios is much more well-rounded, he avoids the takedown while both fighters are fresh which really plays well to Ricky. He gets taken down late although, but survives, the next round they fight on the cage with Ricky with his back to it. He ends up switching position and getting Rosas Jr. Down, raul gives up his back and Turcios hops right on it. Huge shots from the top reign down. Ref steps in when the position does not improve, and Rosas is continuing to fade.

Jauregui vs. Hughes
Yazmin Jauregui, SUB, R1
Back mount, almost tko, but she sinks in a deep RNC instead. Hughes is forced to tap. Late in round 1.

Torres vs. Duncan
Chris Duncan, TKO, R2
The UFC brought out the Scotsman to have a win-win situation in front of a huge crowd. Wild fight, Duncan cracks Torres while getting tagged himself. He finishes it as the action is all over the place and the ref finally jumps in to save Torres. Torres contests but he doesn’t answer for almost 15-20 seconds.

Quiñonez vs. Barcelos
Cristian Quiñonez, DEC
Split 30-27,29-28, 28-29. Great fight that ends with slugs until the bell rings.

Aguilar vs. Mendonça
Jesus Aguilar, TKO, R1
Aguilar can crack and he does with a huge counter left hook that sits Mendonça down

Cháirez vs. Lacerda
Edgar Cháirez, TKO, R1
Ground and pound tko after Lacerda gets hurt with a body shot.

Puelles vs. Ziam
Claudio Puelles, SUB, R2
Ziam gets caught here and its a frustrating one. Heel Hook round 2.

Rodríguez vs. Bondar
Luis Rodríguez, TKO, R2
Side control, to side back control in a wild scramble that Rodriguez keeps on top and ends up finishing the fight there. Tko ground and pound.

Altamirano vs. dos Santos
Felipe dos Santos, DEC
29-28x3 uni.

Naimov vs. Silva
Muhammad Naimov, DEC
30-26x3 uni

Moreno vs. Royval II
This is a close bout. I haven't been following UFC close enough lately to tell.

Rodriguez vs. Ortega II
Yair Rodriguez, KO/TKO, R3
I feel like Yair is going to win by KO/TKO. He is the better fighter, with more toughness and athleticism.

Zellhuber vs. Prado
Daniel Zellhuber, SUB
Zellhuber ranks #59 worldwide.

Rosas Jr. vs. Turcios
Ricky Turcios,DEC
I got Ricky as 1st U-Dog of the night. He has way more experience fighting. He is 12-3-0 as opposed to 8-1-0 for Rosas.

Jauregui vs. Hughes
Yazmin Jauregui, DEC
She has youth, athleticism, and wrestling on her side. Clear winner.

Torres vs. Duncan
Manuel Torres, DEC
Ranking and recent win streak all dubs.

Quiñonez vs. Barcelos
Cristian Quiñonez, SUB
Split 30-27,29-28, 28-29. I give the edge to Quinonez by ground game.

Aguilar vs. Mendonça
Mendonca by DEC
Reach advantage. 71.5 vs 62 in

Cháirez vs. Lacerda
Edgar Cháirez, DEC
Edgar is doing better recently.

Puelles vs. Ziam
Ziam DEC
Ziam by more experience, and has 3 in reach adv.

Rodríguez vs. Bondar
Luis Rodríguez, DEC
Wild guess - close bout

Altamirano vs. dos Santos
Altamirano DEC
Underdog gut win.

Naimov vs. Silva
Muhammad Naimov, KO/TKO
A force to be reckoned with, Naimov is doing great! 5 win streak, and heavy favorite. Easy dub.

Moreno vs. Royval II
Brandon Moreno, SUB, R3
Moreno is better in almost every aspects of the game. Royval can be reckless sometimes and moreno is there to punish him. moreno with a sub is my call.

Rodriguez vs. Ortega II
Yair Rodriguez, TKO, R4
rodriguez is the techniacally sound fighter and ortega comes back after a long period. ortega's pressure may cost him due to yair's good counters and vicious strikes. i can only see a ground game heavy approach from ortega to win the fight but yair isn't easy to control on the ground especially when ortega's condition is heaviyl questionable.

Rosas Jr. vs. Turcios
Raul Rosas Jr., SUB, R1
i expect wild start and a submission by rosas or gassing out after first round and lose a 2-1 decision. it's a close fight but i think rosas catches turcios somewhere in the fight.

+38150 prop SUB parlay ?!

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 590 Points   |   Tied for 1336th

I have a feeling this will be the most submission heavy card ever. I have 6 fights ending in SUB:

Moreno SUB Royval
Ortega SUB Rodriguez
Rosas Jr SUB Turcios
Chairez SUB Lacerda
Puelles SUB Ziam
Dos Santos SUB Altamirano

So it's pretty crazy if it all happens but if it does I will actually hit a +38150 prop
1 $ = 3802,50 $

Let's see if this ages well...

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 555 Points   |   Tied for 1924th

Moreno vs. Royval II
Brandon Moreno, DEC
moreno has only lost by decision outside of tuf and royval relies on finding a finish.

Rodriguez vs. Ortega II
Yair Rodriguez, TKO, R3
did not know this was 5 rounds, maybe gives ortega some extra chances to jump on something, but yair should still control the striking and i don't trust brian's tough-guy defense to continue holding up.

Zellhuber vs. Prado
Daniel Zellhuber, DEC
prado lost his only fight that went to decision and even though he's coming off a big ko, i don't find ottman to be particularly sound defensively. leads me to take the rangier fighter with more scorecard experience/success.

Rosas Jr. vs. Turcios
Ricky Turcios, DEC
mitchell was straight up fodder, perrin hasn't had any success here, christian made him look like a regular teenager, so mando is his best win? seems like they're banking on ricky getting taken down a bunch and not doing enough standing to woo hometown judges, i'll say he can.

Jauregui vs. Hughes
Yazmin Jauregui, DEC
gonna come down to yazmin's tank and how many td's she can stuff.

Torres vs. Duncan
Manuel Torres, TKO, R2
this one is kind of a coinflip in my mind, guess i'll stick with torres just because he's been able to turn it on for a finish both times so far.

Quiñonez vs. Barcelos
Raoni Barcelos, DEC
age is becoming a factor for raoni, but so is level of competition. as long as his chin holds up here, he should be able to control the grappling exchanges.

Aguilar vs. Mendonça
Jesus Aguilar, SUB, R2
hard to evaluate these guys because their ufc losses are excusable and i simply ignore stoppage wins over shannon ross. mendonca is the bigger guy, but i'll go with aguilar just because he's been able to find regional finishes in later rounds instead of just r1 like mendonca. plus mendonca just got finished on the ground and it seems like that's where aguilar wants to be.

Cháirez vs. Lacerda
Edgar Cháirez, SUB, R2
expecting lacerda to look like a wildman early and get into some crazy exchanges before he starts to fade and eventually ends up on bottom and breaks.

Puelles vs. Ziam
Claudio Puelles, SUB, R2
i'll take a chance here. ziam is certainly like a budget hooker, but his lack of finishing power makes me concerned that he won't be able to stop puelles from crashing in and 3/4 of his losses are by sub.

Rodríguez vs. Bondar
Luis Rodríguez, DEC
neither of these guys have impressive resumes, both have been fighting guys that were beating rookies. i'll go with the younger guy just because bondar in winless since 2020 and has pulled out more times than he has fought in that period.

Altamirano vs. dos Santos
Felipe dos Santos, DEC
victor comes out aggressive and goes for it, but i gotta go with the guy that was able to exchange with manel.

Naimov vs. Silva
Muhammad Naimov, TKO, R2
a decision over wood looks pretty good for naimov, makes me think silva won't have success with his takedowns and that seems his main path to victory.

Moreno vs. Royval II
Brandon Moreno, DEC
Fun scrap for the main event features two fighters who have been towards the peak of the flyweight division for quite some time. Both fighters coming off losses to current UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja. The fight should be fairly close on the feet stat wise these guys are identical. I would consider Moreno to be the stronger grappler, while Royval has the more active guard and scrambles. The opportunity for a finish is live on both sides. I would lean towards a submission finish in this. My lean is to take Moreno by decision here. I feel this fight will start out rather explosive with a good mix of striking and grappling scrambles which gives both men opportunity for a finish. But if this fight drags on later I feel Moreno can use that championship experience to edge out Royval here.

"What an excellent day for combat."
