Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 430 Points | Tied for 3933rd
Brandon Moreno, DEC
Royval going to get Raw Dawg’d on the score cards
Rodriguez vs. Ortega II
Yair Rodriguez, TKO, R4
“El Pantera” finds a late finish especially if “T-City” can’t get this fight to the mat
Zellhuber vs. Prado
Daniel Zellhuber, TKO, R3
Golden Boy has better cardio and an 8” reach advantage. Prado has only seen the 2nd round 4 times in his career
Rosas Jr. vs. Turcios
Raul Rosas Jr., SUB, R1
Ricky doesn’t have good Takedown Defense or fight IQ.. I expect Rosas to get this fight to the mat quickly for Sub
Jauregui vs. Hughes
Yazmin Jauregui, DEC
Ah, yes. Another boring decision fight
Torres vs. Duncan
Manuel Torres, TKO, R1
Torres by violent KO
Quiñonez vs. Barcelos
Cristian Quiñonez, TKO, R3
The real “Problema” is Barcelos is aging and has not looked good in recent fights
Aguilar vs. Mendonça
Mateus Mendonça, SUB, R1
Both men are live for a submission but I’ll take the bigger/stronger Mendonca to get the W here
Cháirez vs. Lacerda
Edgar Cháirez, TKO, R2
Don’t trust Lacerda’s gas tank and durability
Puelles vs. Ziam
Claudio Puelles, SUB, R1
Ziam has been submitted 3 times in his professional career. I’ll take Puelles by Submission
Rodríguez vs. Bondar
Luis Rodríguez, DEC
I think Bondar is a bum
Altamirano vs. dos Santos
Felipe dos Santos, DEC
Dos Santos is going to give Victor an “L Magnifico”
Naimov vs. Silva
Muhammad Naimov, TKO, R2
Naimov will have better cardio considering he’s been training at higher elevation unlike Silva

Brandon Moreno, DEC
I honestly think Moreno has the advantage anywhere this fight goes. He's the more technical striker and is going to carry the power advantage. On the mat, Royval has dangerous jiu-jitsu, but I think he'll be spending the majority of that time on the bottom. Moreno has the clear wrestling advantage and if it goes to the ground it's more than likely going to be because he took it there. Other than catching Moreno in a sub in a scramble I don't see a way Royval wins this fight. I think Moreno is just a level above and can win this fight in multiple ways.

Claudio Puelles, SUB, R2
75% of Ziam's losses are by submission. Although Puelles' last outing vs Hooker was an embarrasing one, I think he learned from his mistakes and will come back stronger. I expect Puelles to initiate the clinch more effectively vs. Ziam, ultimately leading to a submission.

The main event might be even more tricky. I didnt think Royval looked bad vs. Pantoja considering it was his first 25 minute fight. He was even coming on a bit in the last 2 rounds as Pantoja started to fade a little. I thought his striking looked improved. Moreno is the better fighter but hes kind of like Sean Strickland in that he consistently finds himself in closer fights with the judges because of his style. I have a feeling Moreno will win a razor close fight here and send Royval to bantamweight where he probably belongs.
