It's 2023, you can't go into an MMA fight with the land to takedown gameplan and lie on top of your opponent doing nothing for the entire round. McKee makes more damage and despite being on bottom position he literally outlanding 3-1 in strikes to Sidney. On the other hand, many people said that McKee would be a problem in the UFC: this guy doesn't have TDD for the elite grapplers and his striking is overrated. I'm not saying it's a bummer, but A.J. in the UFC he would be lunch for grapplers like Oliveira, Gamrot, Dariush, BSD and especially an Arman Tsarukyan who has a brutal ground and pound, needless to say if he faces Islam who is not only good on the ground, but his striking is now at a superlative level.
