If Ivana Petrovic looked like Elise Reed she wouldn't even be in the UFC and yet she is somehow sitting around -230 and at 90% on this site. I know Luana sucks, but so does this girl. Her best groundwork has happened after she was the one who got taken down because she has pretty bad takedowns. Her striking is slow and low level. She fights with no urgency and lets herself get backed up. She has been flash dropped twice in 6 fights because she never tucks or protects her chin. I actually think this fight might not even be close in favor of Luana. Her only useful skill is ground and pound, but she is just not a good wrestler. Her best performance is against a Strawweight and she is somehow pushing -230 against a .500 UFC fighter. I don't get it.

Don't even compare Reed to Petrovic

You're saying a 6-0 ares fc champ(on ufc fight pass) shouldn't be signed. Plus she finishes fights

Luana came to the ufc 5-1.

I think you are hating way too much on Ivana for no reason.

Gaethje Hate (I don't actually hate him)

While I wouldn't pick Damir to beat Gaethje, I think Gaethje is one of the most overrated strikers on the roster. His striking is effective very much because it's heavily dependent on his power, but not very refined. Slamming leg kicks and throwing haymakers does not a skilled striker make. I mean everyone was oohhing and ahhing bc he he started jabbing his last fight lol. Damir is much better on the feet skillwise, but I don't think he could go three rounds with Gaethje without getting caught. Even ranked guys in the division who aren't primary strikers (Moicano, RDA) I think are more skilled strikers than Gaethje. Most of his wins have asterisks next to them and he's a notorious eyepoker. If not for that eyepoke against Fiziev he would have lost the fight I'm sure (Yes I'm still salty for losing a bet I placed on Fiziev)

Yeah Luana came to the UFC 5-1. She has a lot more experience now and yet the girl with no experience and 1 half decent win on her record is gonna close a -250 favorite. We aren't betting and picking 5-1 Luana against 6-0 Ivana.

And she won the title against a girl who was 2-0 and then defended against a Strawweight. That doesn't exactly scream she needs to be signed to the UFC immediately.

Yeah go watch the fights. She is not good. She got taken down over and over by a pro boxer in the one Ares fight. She got dropped in the clinch by the Strawweight. Against another low level girl she ate a knee to the jaw that looked like Aljo vs Moraes expect she only dropped and didn't go out. If you read my comment I was clearly commenting on her tape and not her record. So you either can't read or don't have reading comprehension.

Usually with these low level women fight, Just dog or pass them, don't trust them with your money, Women MMA is volitle, But when it low level WMMA, it's more volitle
