As for Thiago, I think he is not done and will outpoint widely a guy like Wilkinson. He probable win the competition if Carlos Junior is not back.

Moraes is on one of the most shocking career trajectory I can recall, since his back and forth loss to Cejudo for the title... From being one or two leg kicks away from the belt (with impressive wins over Sterling and Assuncao), to losing his last 5 fights by brutal KO, in less than 3 years... Absolutely shocking. Why is he even fighting Loughnane, who is a dangerous fighter on a hell of a run?! Crual matchmaking.

Thiago Santos is on a terrible run since that Jon Jones controversial loss, and I agree he doesn't look the same mad killer, but his level of competition has been the absolute top crème de la crème, with his last 4 losses coming against Jamahal Hill (who just became the Champ with the performance of his life), Ankalaev (who might simply be the better fighter of the entire division when he's not fighting Jan "leg punisher" Blachowicz), Rakic (who is a top 5 fighter with legit titles aspirations), and Teixeira (who was on his crazy old brute run to become a solid Champ). Nothing to be ashamed of. Wilkinson looked great against fighters who wouldn't even be in the top 15 of the UFC rankings, except (maybe) Akhmedov.. So until I'm seing him lose to non-elite fighters, I will keep picking him.

In regards to Hamlet I would have to disagree with you. Watching him last year he doesn't really pose any outstanding qualities. Not the greatest striker on the feet, preferring to get it to the ground. And I don't know if you could say he is a better wrestler than Wilkinson.

Surely whoever wins the contract through the challenger series can't fight on this card since there is just a 3 week gap between the LHW challenger program and this event. Seems weird scheduling to me.
