I do like that there are 5 new fighters on this card. It gives these guys at least an opportunity to at least prove that they should be fighting in the UFC. I think at least 3 of these new dudes will be able to get at least 2 wins in the UFC

the more I think about it, the more Umar vs Raoni is shaping up to be the upset of the decade

this is purely sentimental and it's not backed up by anything technical or any actual logic behind it but it feels almost illegal for these odds to be a thing. it's almost disrespectful the way raoni is being treated both by fans and bookmakers, karma truly is waiting in the corner to strike

technically though, the only actual strategy I can think of that Raoni might end up having a bit of success with are the calf/thigh kicks. morozov landed a pretty decent one on umar and even though raoni doesn't really throw the calf kick THAT much, when he does they're whipping hard

generally, the counter to dagestani prodigy strikers and potentially wrestlers as well might end up being the calf kick. we saw the start of it with jan vs ankalaev, if people pick up on it it might become a trend

I get what you’re saying but this feels like a passing of the garb to me. Raoni has been a dark horse for years but I think age is catching up with him. Umar may not be able to take him down but I’m pretty confident he can beat raoni on the feet. He’s faster, has higher output, great footwork, and dynamic striking

I been saying on this site for years that women MMA are usually 50-50 or at least closer then the line indicates, I’ve alway say dog or pass women fights and if you bet the favourites then be careful,  The bookies as of late has lined the women fights closer

Even despite agreeing with you on the fight for the most part, +200 or more on Pricilla doesn’t seem bad just because it Women MMA and they’re all terrible

Barcelos can only beat dudes that aren't top 15 caliber now. His speed and movement have declined over the last 2 years. I honestly thought Trevin Jones was going to beat him, but Jones isn't as good as I thought he was
