You are really talking some non sense in terms of betting.
"1. You bet "units"
2. You bet "lines" and not fighters
3. You bet single bets and not parlays"

You bet units for proper bank roll management, why would that be bad?
You bet the lines because betting is all about probability. If you bet a line that has a higher probability than the implied probability of the odds, then you have value. That's how you can be profitable long term. 
I don't know how you are going to argue that parlays are better than single bets, so I would love to hear your arguments.

1. They are not just smoke and mirrors, its a way to say how much of your bank roll you are risking on a certain bet. "2 grand" doesn't say anything because it depends on the size of your bank roll. If your bank roll is 100K, then you can bet 2 grand, if your bank roll is 10K then you shouldn't bet 2 grand.

2. Again, it depends on the price (line). If you think Umar og Rebecki got a higher chance of winning than the odds suggest, then you got value and can go ahead and bet. And there is nothing called "guaranteed ROI", both those fighters can lose. 

3. Sure, that would be the only argument you can find. Some bookies don't do that though. And also, why do you think bookies encourage gamblers to do parlays? They are happy to take stupid 8 leg parlays. 

No point arguing with Hyppen. He is following the rules set by the bookies. This is why he will never be rich like us.

I don't even try to convince anyone anymore. You and I know how it really works and how to really make big money on betting. Let these guys keep going with their "units" and their "Value" and "Probability" and made up numbers. Doesn't bother me.

I will be done with MMA betting by the end of this year. Will have made enough that I will never have to work again. Any bets I make after that are for fun. Let these guys all follow their same cookie cutter theories that every single one of them has. They all bet the same way and lose money the same way

What's funny to me is that they all desperately cling to the same cookie cutter narrative. Every one of them bets the same way. 

And despite losing money consistently, year after year they are so defensive of their betting theory and method.

Let them be... everyone has the right to lose their money

We should declare it a national holiday in both our respective countries. What an amazing thing. This is no coincidence. It is fate.

And like I said... let them lose their money and continue with their routine 9 - 5 life. At least we tried.

value isn’t +500, +300 or even +800.. value is simply “this line i believe has a better chance than what’s currently indicated”
that’s what value is.. if a line is -110 that’s an indication of 52.4% (rinats opening line against battle) but wait, surely Rinat wins more than 52.4% of the time? surely Rinat would win this fight 6/10 atleast? And if i’m right in saying he would win 6 times out of 10, then he should be lined at 60% which is -150… that’s +7.6% in my favour based off my opinion that Rinat should be -150 instead of -110… that’s the definition of value, that’s how you cap a fight as a professional gambler… you ask yourself is this line true? does this fighter have a better chance or less of a chance or is this line completely accurate? hope this makes sense, if it doesn’t, my advice is don’t gamble. 


& units do make sense… units is a representation of how much money i’m betting, it’s also a representation of my confidence in a play… If i have 10K i will bet between 1-3% of my account 

(some people bet 1-5%, some are stupid enough to go over 5% it’s personal preference) 

1 unit = 1% of my account.. what’s 1% of 10k? we know 1% of 10K = 100, that’s my standard bet… my max bet will be 3% which is 300 as 3% of 10k is 300.. 

it’s not difficult to do basic math, if all of this doesn’t make sense to you, go back to school g
